Labs Check; How Do You Control Estrogen?

I take mine first thing in the morning. Which is a Friday. My second shot of the week of test is the day before (Thursday) so approx 24 hours between. By accident in fairness as friday is when the Anastrozole arrived. Dr didnt give me specific instructions just once a week

not another chasing lab numbers thread. you do NOT need AI, unless you have pronounced symptoms in relation to AI, where you need first to adjust dosing/schedule (daily Tprop for ex). I am on 210mg/daily Tprop and my E2 is 60-70. i feel great. libido good
AI is poison
your ferritin is low
maybe try NAC for liver values

i do daily injections

GYNO can have other reasons. you could also try some P5P if prolactin is high or DIM to rid body of bad estrogens. like somebody mentioned here E2 is beneficial

I don’t doubt E2 is beneficial, but not so high it causes gyno. I already take P5P and NAC

You won’t need to wait that long. The medication starts working in hours, and has a long 50 hour half life. You’ll know where you stand in 2-3 weeks.

I am strictly a beginner(age 62) but find my doctor to be little help on the testosterone replacement issue. Initially when I started injections everything was great but after after a while my you know what stopped working properly . I wanted the cream instead of the injections but it seems my insurance didn’t cover it. Since my estrogen got boosted the doctor prescribed anastrozole to lower my estrogen levels. Am not trying to bulk up, just am worried about getting discouraged(am working with a trainer) if I don’t see real results. Would appreciate any info that could be provided on this topic, again just beginner level. Am off the testosterone at the moment until I get a better plan in place.

Not for TRT, this is a body building protocol.

Bone loss, osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems etc.

@dlafave

I would start by creating your own thread to discuss your issues. After that we will need much more detail on your protocol and labs.

What sort of cardio problems? I see a lot of people cite this, but what specifically? like a drop in Vo2 max, heart hypotrophy? thanks

I’d jump in on that @dlafave
