Lab Results Two Years after Stopping TRT

I’m a 34 year old male. 180lbs 5’6" 11 to 12%. I have been cycling gear since 22 years old.I have done at least 12 cycles. I did TRT at the end of my last cycle year and decided to stop it 2 years ago. So I have been natty for 2 years as I was trying to minimize hair loss from the added dht from TRT.

While natty I didn’t feel as optimal as when I was on TRT. My mother passed away and my mental health was started to change a bit. So I figured I should get my hormones check out thinking the reason I feel different is related to my hormones changing. Hoping I could get a TRT prescription with finasteride. I haven’t went threw my results yet with my doctor.

While natty (about a year in) I had a very sensitive pea sized growth under a nipple that I had to use nolva to control the flare up. This has happened before in the past years ago, and usually happens several months after pct. My last pct was solid. followed:" the perfect pct simplified" found on evolutionary.org. I was trying to post this in the TRT section but it was locked out.

I would remove the Finasteride from your wish list! Finasteride can affect 12 other chemicals in the brain that convert neural steroids.

Is that right, thanks.

I 100% agree to avoid finasteride.

I took it for two years before learning about potential side effects, including post-finasteride syndrome.

Fortunately I never experienced any acute side effects, and wouldn’t know to what extent the medication had on an optimal to non-optimal scale. I did get out of shape following an accident and recovery and it was harder than expected to lose fat after, but I chalked it up to being older. Looking back I feel like there may have been some chemically induced difficulties as well.

I read that in some cases one dose can screw people up for years or potentially permanently, and in other cases people can be fine for years and then all of a sudden start experiencing very harsh sides. I opted to quit in case scenario 2 played out. It’s been 5 months or so and I do feel better overall. More energy, more strength et cetera. Hard to pinpoint though, I started TRT and HGH peptides around the same time.

I’ll definitely be joining the cue ball club at some point in my 40’s, but will take it over PFS symptoms all day.

For what it’s worth, after about 6 months my hair was phenomenal. At about a year I was actually regrowing hair which went from peach fuzz to baby hairs to full fledged hairs over the next six months or so, right in the front of my hairline. They fell out all at once about two weeks after quitting :frowning:

I wonder what the long term effects will be after 30-40 years on Finasteride. Benzos, no one knew what the long term affects would be, now benzos are used for short term.

These people using Finasteride, which affects neural steroids, what will this do to cognitive function in the later life…?

Guinea pigs step forward!

I recall a member getting PFS after 4.5 years on Finasteride, so this shows it can take years to develop PFS, hence my point ^^…

Absolutely. I’m glad I got off.

I expect to see increased rates of dementia and Alzheimer’s on long term finasteride use.
