LA Boycott of AZ

In Lighter News, MSNBC tells a tale of how bad it is now to business owners since AZ enacted the law, and how businesses are suffering because of their racist law…

"The Sunday night after Gov. Jan Brewer signed the law on April 23, â??we had three rooms occupied out of 97 in the hotel,â?? Clausen said. At the border, there was virtually no line to get into the country, he said. Usually, the wait is 1½ to two hours.

â??It just fell through the floor,â?? he said. â??People stopped crossing the border.â??

^^Looks like the law is already working. I suspect that the boycott affect is exaggerated by MSNBC.

And take a citizenship test and see if you would even pass the test to become a citizen:

Obama said today that he is “open to the idea” of sending 1200 troops to the border, well I hope his open idea turns into a reality. What a fucking disgraceful presidency and administration.

Ive been following this. First off, one if the main reasons for him doing this is to say “hey Arizona, we got it under control. You can ease off enforcing your law.” Second, most people dont realize how little ability the national guard will have. They cant shoot even if shot at, they cant question anyone even if they see them swimmin over, and they cant communicate with them. If they see a suspected illegal, they have to contact the closest border patrol station and report it. And third, this is 1200 troops. Does Obama realize how many miles there is of border. 1200 doesnt come close to cutting it. He is doing this to show the media how “tough” he is being.

Well, well…

People that observe Mexico’s own immigration laws in action think they had better not throw stones in glass houses…

Wow! nice find

Here is an excerpt

But in Mexico, illegal immigrants receive terrible treatment from corrupt Mexican authorities, say people involved in the system.

And Mexico has a law that is no different from Arizona’s that empowers local police to check the immigration documents of people suspected of not being in the country legally.

“There (in the United States), they’ll deport you,” Hector Vázquez, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, said as he rested in a makeshift camp with other migrants under a highway bridge in Tultitlán. “In Mexico they’ll probably let you go, but they’ll beat you up and steal everything you’ve got first.”

more from the article

In one six-month period from September 2008 through February 2009, at least 9,758 migrants were kidnapped and held for ransom in Mexico â?? 91 of them with the direct participation of Mexican police, a report by the National Human Rights Commission said. Other migrants are routinely stopped and shaken down for bribes, it said.

A separate survey conducted during one month in 2008 at 10 migrant shelters showed Mexican authorities were behind migrant attacks in 35 of 240 cases, or 15%.

What I am happy about, is that it is ok to openly against illegal immigration. For a long time, the media has been quick to label you as a racist if you were, but now the flood gates are open about the issue.

Also, the author of the Arizona Law is now going after birthright citizenship. He is planning to introduce a law denying US birth certificates to the children of illegal aliens. I have no idea how they plan to get around the 14th amendment, but he is 7-0 in court challenges, so things are just getting started when dealing with illegal aliens.
