I’m in defense of police officers doing what they need to so they can go home to their family - considering their job is one of the few that requires them to put their life on the line at every traffic stop. If its’ truly unjustified - I dont see many people coming to the officers’ defense. Unfortunately, the common reaction is to riot before finding out facts - it is commonplace these days.

Only one of the two swore an oath to protect the commonwealth. As a former Marine who swore to lay down my life to protect the constitution and United States citizens, this sentiment resonates with me. perhaps more than it would with others. Like it or not, police officers ARE there to keep people safe, although they miss the mark at times.
to answer your question, YES, i value the lives of officers over convicted criminals as a general statement. I dont see why that is unreasonable.
