Thanks.
I was wondering why I didn’t see this in the news yet. It should at least get covered by Howard Stern. I wonder if Howard will make as big a stink about this as he did with Mel Gibson…
harris447 wrote:
Can he be forgiven? Was what he did worse that Mel Gibson? Not as bad?
What does everyone think about this?
Forgiven by some, but never forgotten by most. As far as a comparison to Mel Gibson, a racists true colors will eventually shine through. I was somewhat surprised/shocked. On television he does not come across as such, but I guess that’s why they call it acting.
Cracker, please!
Wow. That was freakin venomous.
I am not naive to racist views, but that was shocking. His remarks were’nt even witty or well phrased. I liked that so many people got up and walked out on him.

Hahahaha
Do black people really get so worked up about people using “nigger?” The thing I don’t understand still is they use it at each other daily, but when someone white usues it it’s “uncalled for”
Yeah, his stand up sucked anyways.

I never really got Sienfeld and only laughed at a few episodes, so I’m not really a fan anyway. I did think he was great in UHF, though.
Waitaminute, waitaminute. You “got” UHF but you didn’t get Seinfeld?! You sir, get the “WTF?!?! of the Week” award.
UHF was just ridiculously silly. Most of the time Seinfeld just seems like a bunch of thirtysomethings whining about the little shit in life. I’m sorry, I just didn’t find it funny that often. Maybe it’s my sense of humor, I don’t know.
A friend and I just recently had a similar conversation. He loves Seinfeld and thinks it’s hilarious. I said I don’t get. Then we discussed Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which I think is hilarious, and he claims not to get. To each their own.
There is the slight chance that the heckling got to him and he lost it (like with Hicks in the link I poster before.) The video shows him flipping out, but there could have been 45 minutes of yelling and swearing from the crowd beforehand that we didn’t see.
I’m not saying his behavior was justified, I’m just saying it might have been because he was having a bad day, not because he’s racist.

Who is “they”? Does this include all black people or just “those” black people?
There is a huge difference between “my nigga” and “get out of my neighborhood, you nigger”. If you don’t know the difference, it is because you don’t want to understand the difference.
There are probably more black people who would make an effort to not use and publically decrease the usage of the word in casual conversation than there are those who actually use it.
Chris Rock using the term in a JOKE as a way to describe people OF HIS OWN RACE is not the same as someone FROM ANOTHER RACE using the term as pure DEGRADATION.
Did that really need to be explained to you? If so, why? Please give details of how your social awareness is so developmentally retarded.
no way jackie childs is going to represent the k-man now.

I can mock myself, my friends, and my family. You can mock yourself, your friends, and your family. What would you do if I mocked you, yourself, or your family?
I’m one of the biggest Seinfeld fans going. Seen every episode 100 times and can tell you who said what if you tell me a quote.
With that being said…
Richards was out of his mind. I’m still in shock that he actually did that. There is no way to spin it. He said some foul shit. You can easily tell there wasn’t any humor in what he was saying. It was an outright attack on the hecklers.
That really fucked up my view of him.
That was fucked up. I don’t think I can watch Seinfeld anymore.

Not even Jackie can get him out of this mess, and I think you mean the KKK-man!
I love Seinfeld. I always look forward to watching it. The episode on this evening was “The Parking Space”. It’s a decent episode. When Kramer came on, all I could think about was him being a racist fuck. I couldn’t get that video clip out of my mind, and I stopped watching it halfway through… He may have ruined the best show of all time for me.

"Who told you to use the N-word?! I didn’t tell you to use the N-word, so who told you to use the N-word?! Why’d you use the N-word?!
That was violation, degradation, desperation… it was total humiliation! I have never been so humiliated in my life!
This is the lowest point of my professional career!"
