hahahhahahahahahahahahha

Oh jesus man…you should try your hand at stand up comedy…you are getting to be a parody of yourself…
You’re right because the Newton shooting has only lead to an assualt weapns ban in my state (MD) and the registration of assault weapons in NY, that’s just off the top of my head. I know there have been other bans.
You’re right though it’s hilarious. America is SO differnt than other countries in the world we are immune to gun confiscation.
Soooooooo prohibiting people from buying new assault weapons (current owners are not affected) = systematic rounding up and destruction of all privately owned firearms?

Weird. Is English your first language? It seems like something may have gotten lost in translation there.
I’m concerned English is not you first language. After Newton these laws were created. I’m pretty sure I said after a couple more it’s entirely possible that our gov would move to round up and destroy privately owned arms. Please go back and check the quote and correct me if I’m wrong.

Do you not think that’s possible?
I give it around the same odds as the Flying Spaghetti Monster reaching out and blessing me with his noodly appendage…

But hey its great that we have guys like you parading around the internet to make sure that never happens…Im sure the nuclear armed government thta would be willing to completely dissolve the constitution would certainly back down in the face of a fearless internet warrior…
Who said the constitution would need to be completely dissolved?

Only on the internet can someone so closed minded type so much and say so little while every post is as condescending as possible.

You’re right I’ll just fall in line like everyone else. I’d hate to have to be an actual warrior…
usmccds423 wrote:

People like you and your ilk are worrying your pretty little noggin’s off over the FAR FAR FAR possibility that it even COULD happen…Are you saying that if the government systematically went around and tried to round up yer gunzz there wouldn’t be shit hitting the fan? Then what? That government who is at war with its people just keeps making sure Amendments 1 and 3-30 or whatever are still wholly protected? LOL…sure big chief…

That is what I don’t get about you people that live in make believe land. Not only are you so far removed from the actual reality, but you can’t even incorporate actual elements of reality into your little day dream. That you would think all other aspects of the constituion other than the second would even remotely be possible is absolutely hilarious.

Well what’s stopping you Rambo? You better get gettin’ while the gettin’s hot!! I mean the next school shooting could be next month…next week…tomorrow…later today…you never know when the gubments gonna start coming in and taking your guns!! Why are you not storming the white house fences right now making sure they know who’s boss? Why are you and your militia not engaging in guerilla tactics required to fight off your nuclear armed overlords??? Or at least training for that scenario?? You are wasting valuable time sitting behind the computer playing pretend when you should actually be out doing something about the grave injustice that sorta might kinda happen possibly one day!!! Go forth young warrior!!! We are all counting on you…

Well then Sparky quit your belly achin’. I reckon you’re gonna have to take the bad with the good…

Close mindedness = not waking up afraid of my gubment every day and wondering how they are gonna try to take my gun next…lol

You should try not being so open minded…it appears your brain may have fallen out.

First off, I’m not worrying anything off. I’m (well was) having a conversation about the bearing of arms. Somehow that morphed into this garbage.

I’m sure the Jews thought their guns would never have been round up or that their government never ever would have massacred them. How’d that work out?

“Oh God you think the guberment is going to commit mass genocide of it’s people LOLOLOLOLO,” you can save yourself from anther garbage reply, I don’t.

Of course shit would hit the fan; you’re the one that acted like it would be a joke if the people did resist our all powerful nuclear government.

The fact is, when people are afraid, they allow their rights to be trampled. SEE THE PATRIOT ACT.

This is just some misguided crap on your part. I never said anything of the sort. You jumped to this conclusion. It’s not AT ALL how I think or act.

Nothing stopping me, I’d rather HAVE A CONVERSATION and PREMPTIVELY stop our government from infringing on our constitutional rights. If that doesn’t work you can bet your ass I’ll do what’s necessary. Don’t worry though I’ll fight for you just like I will my family.

Once again be as condescending and sarcastic as possible. I think maybe you had a few too many cups of Joe this morning…

WOW

^ God you are so right, the several post between SMH and I was just me voicing my fear of the government. I sure am glad to get that off my chest. Thank you so much for opening my otherwise closed eyes. I have seen the light. Praise the spaghetti monster in the sky!!!

I really don’t see the American government ever outright saying, “We are taking your firearms, hand them over.” If it can get a large enough voting block of totally naive people, it will likely continue working like it already does. A combination of increasing felony laws, constantly changing mental health standards, etc.

My guess is that the government will continue to push an anti-gun culture, which will ultimately lead to a disarmed society.

Look at it this way; in MD I can’t buy an assault rifle. So now I can’t teach my kids how to properly use, clean, etc… this style of weapon. For some that will be enough of a hassle to abandon non hunting rifles all together. Then handgun laws become stricter or they are banned entirely. Same thing happens. In a few generations America will be disarmed without an amendment passing.

I also think its entirely possible Congress can/will amend the 2nd. Other similar countries have done it, Britain, Japan, etc…I don’t think it will happen in my lifetime, but I wouldnt just dismiss the possibility.

Don’t take my word for it though. I’m just afraid of the guberment…

Then it could be a bear shaped cyborg playing a recording of a duck.

That’s funny, the “it’s not asinie,” comment was directed at you not SMH. So again, the conversation that SMH and I had had nothing at all to do with fear of the government.

That’s okay though. After this several post exchange I don’t expect your comment to include any sort of substance.

Good point. In addition to the measures I mentioned, the government may just tell its subjects that the second amendment only applies to arms that existed in 1789-not the type that existed, but the actual weapons that existed then.

I’m one state to the south of you and can’t own an assault rifle without jumping through hoops. What your state has actually done is say that you can’t buy a semi-automatic rifle that looks like an assault rifle(a rifle capable of selective fire).

That may be the case, I haven’t read the actual law yet. It was just signed last week I believe.

I haven’t either, but I assume it’s not just going to restrict something that’s already restricted. I would think it will be looking to outlaw AR-15 and AK-47 style semi-automatics.
