KMc's Robs Eric Cressey

Awesome box squats, KM. But come back to me when you’re doing overhead squats with those weights. ; )

I have snatches 100 kg but that was a long time ago so I guess I could do 225 if I tried.

I forgot to say… I have had a stressful past few months

I broke down tonight and had an 8 ounce burger.

It was good.

Im not a big meat eater, by any stretch-
it felt really good.

Hey Kmc-
just swinging in to show some groupie love! :stuck_out_tongue:

I have the Max Strength book staring me in the face right now, but I put it on hold to focus on losing these stubborn pounds first, and to get my cals up(sounds counter productive, right?)

So I’m living vicariously through you and O_S…I’ll give the program a go in a couple months!!

Keep up the hard work!!

whoah…a video of a 225kg snatch?! thud
That would be good to see how you work a snatch that big!

mey MinM thanks!
Maximum strength is pretty solid- a good ammount of corrective stuff, and plenty of unilateral work.

Upping calories is a good way to get body’s furnace going.

OB_s Please I make a spelling mistake and now I am in SAMA
although what would I do with a 100kg sntch… that is allot of girl

That’s what all the high rep conditioning work is for. I have faith in you.

SnatchRex is impressed.

Yes all hail Snatch Rex.

and OB_s I am a master of technique and the high rep unilateral work is paying off.

all this and no one busted balls that I ate a burger

kmc

Only one?

Yes just one, probably the first time I ate beef in over 8 years or more like 12.
I think I ate some on a dare.

Made this a deload I was supposed to make yesterday a deload too- woops,
and my right hip is jacked up from the wide stance I used to box squat yesterday.

that made leg drive really hard.

Did I miss something-- are you a vegetablarian? Don’t eat red meat? Wassup?

Yeah for the most part I eat little meat.
Just not really my thing I dont really eat beef or chicken.
and very little pork

I eat fish eggs, by the dozen and turkey- or really really good italian cold cuts.
so not a vegetarian but not a big meat eater.
when I do eat it- I want it to be really good.

It does make the protein thing hard…

Do you mean you eat fish eggs (as in the unborn offspring of fish) or that you eat fish, and eggs (as in the unborn offspring of chickens)? And, what about bacon icecream sundaes with turkey gravy? Oh wait, that’s Steely’s thread.

Ooops, I almost missed this. What do you mean by “making the protein thing hard”?

Yes
yes
yes?
no.

I eat fish, all kinds- except shrimp or something like lobster- not my thing either of them
clams and oysters are cool though. and yes roe or fish eggs too.

and eggs like baby chickens…

and I am from NYC we don’t really do gravy-
the only thing we called gravy was red sauce with pasta-
but you really dont want to eat with people who call it that.
ask JimmyT

not eating much meat makes getting adequate protein a challenge
the accepted nutritional stuff is 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per lean pound of bodyweigt.

SteellyD is doing something like 2 grams per pound of bodyweight- and he is putting on a TON of size.

Basically I eat all day and eat pretty decent meals- I am lazy and dont track calories too much.

kmc

If you eat little meat does that mean you’re okay with gerbils and kittens and such?
They’re pretty tasty but there’s a lot of bones.

Sure kittens, chipmunks squirrel ,
snakes with their tails in their mouth all good stuff.

This might be the only thing I could bag on my parents for…
being crappy cooks

they had 5 kids 2 semi vegatarians one vegan 17 therapists go figure.
