I also found out I cant do whey- casein seems to work better…
but whey and me do not get along at all. Hemp is ok but the protein content is lower-
but really I dont think having a 50gram protein shake is something the body can process…

I eat plenty of good fats we only use olive oil, and I eat plenty of avocados-
but I will take the olive oil in shakes suggestion.
I’m not actively trying to gain or get allot bigger- just get good foods in, but training like this
you cant really not gain weight. hovering at 180- I dont think I want to get a whole lot heavier.

Mine likes 50 grams of protein at a whack. Don’t fergit yer fish oil.
I am LOVING this program- but I did it with no rest this week bad move.
But this morning after yesterdays front squats and rack pulls
Im like fuck you Eric Cressey.
I like all the shoulder health stuff and even silly shit like the planks…
makes you feel like you needed them.

I hear you on the resting thing kmc. Every other day is quite enough for me especially when I’m doing wado on my “off” days. Today I considered getting on the bike for a while but decided to be a lazy bastard and do nothing.
the program is 4 days with a day off in between Im trying to do 2 days 1 off 2 days then the weekend off
weekends are hard to train…
so I did 3 days in a row and now feel like ass- no surprise.

How is the wado… I miss smelly Gi’s

Wado typically is a lot of fun - once I convince myself to get there. Been having motivation problems recently.
We have a three day seminar with an 8th Dan from Japan Memorial day weekend that I’m trying to get up for right now.
I try to hit four days, and let me tell you by day four I am done.
on day four I am like woo! fug Eric Cressey.
on day two I am like wow, Eric Cressey has this figured out-
great choices of volume… he is the man
Day one and three I do some kind of squat and pull.
so its back to Fug Eric Cressey.
5.12.09
lower
mobility
OH squats 95x10
A Box Squat 8x3 275
OH squats to box 135x10
warm ups box 225x5
Notes
OH squast to box are the SHIT- perfect to correct form.
helped me get a good set up and decent arch
box squats- I dont sit on the box too long- maybe I need to be.
these felt good- I have to put my hands outide the rings to keep my elbows inline
Speed pulls
Felt really light- around set 5 I had to work hard to keep a decent back angle.
I actually did reverse crunches instead of hanging leg raises
good to change it up.
weighted planks even sunburned PMPM is a better man then I
I might need to try the skid method- more then a 45 plate is awkward

What a good thing that you remembered your book with training info.
OBs kindly rescued my sorry ass by providing the workout from the book.
I do own a copy but it was on its way back to the city with my wife-
that was on sunday night.
Yesterday I made it back to NYC where I dutifully trained via the book.
but how lame am I that I did not thank OBs.
OBS you ROCK ROCK ROCK,
I am eternally grateful.
ps
I heart OBs
