I like all the shoulder health stuff and even silly shit like the planks…
makes you feel like you needed them.

I hear you on the resting thing kmc. Every other day is quite enough for me especially when I’m doing wado on my “off” days. Today I considered getting on the bike for a while but decided to be a lazy bastard and do nothing.

I keep forgetting im not 25 :slight_smile:

the program is 4 days with a day off in between Im trying to do 2 days 1 off 2 days then the weekend off
weekends are hard to train…
so I did 3 days in a row and now feel like ass- no surprise.

How is the wado… I miss smelly Gi’s

Wado typically is a lot of fun - once I convince myself to get there. Been having motivation problems recently.

We have a three day seminar with an 8th Dan from Japan Memorial day weekend that I’m trying to get up for right now.

I was supposed to do box squats- and speed pulls today
but my project was much bigger then I thought…

this weekends project- was supposed to be putting up a fence-
but we had a ton of other shit todo so today instead of training

I dug out 8 holes with a post hole digger- 30"deep.

great fun til you hit a rock, then it goes from blow to suck

put in the 8’ posts into the holes
hauled a ton of dirt, junk and gravel back and forth

put up an electric fence-

all to keep bees.WTF

this took from like 91m to like 9pm too late for the country YMCA

Ill train tommorow.

Bears, coons and indigents would like some of that honey. Seems needful to me…And as was noted, the GPP benefit can’t be beat.

Every bee keeper in the area has an electric fence- this is North East Pennsylvania
like an idiot we made a big fenced in area- too much work.

and yes the gpp is awesome-

we have a bear we have not seen him or her but we have seen some big ass footprints.

OH squast to box are the SHIT- perfect to correct form.
helped me get a good set up and decent arch

box squats- I dont sit on the box too long- maybe I need to be.
these felt good- I have to put my hands outide the rings to keep my elbows inline

Speed pulls
Felt really light- around set 5 I had to work hard to keep a decent back angle.

I actually did reverse crunches instead of hanging leg raises
good to change it up.
weighted planks even sunburned PMPM is a better man then I
I might need to try the skid method- more then a 45 plate is awkward
