KM'c Black Irish Bastid 3.0

What’s with the knee? Is that bone, or what?

HAHAH! Love the smack on the ass! A big, ol juicy squatters ass is kryptonite to us women. And btw, I can’t wait to be a MILF and get away with bad behavior. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife!

Speaking of, your child is so freaking adorable!! I love his quizzical expression. lol!

And congrats on the gym notoriety! You’re setting a great example for your fellow gym goers. Represent!

Also your knee is gross. Thanks!

Training looks good! Swole and sore, you did it right. Great work!

ps. being called “Big Guy” cracks me up, typical east coasters. My Oly coach used always be like, “c’mon beb! pull with speed” the only thing missing is a smack on the ass. lol!

Ha on the weigh in with Oly shoes but ya know what? I feel like I pr my dips

not just with reps but weight, right? slippers —> to Oly shoes hehe win!

Im reaching now, I realize that.

Give that knee some TLC

Damn Kevin that knee looks like it hurts bad.

Cav is like extra shit?

V.M.a.s.c. no need to wait to misbehave
and the ass smack was perfect punctuation

its true- peeps calling you boss, big guy
or beb - I bet your coach is like sitting on a bench or what ever lookin board as fug.

Rowan is a funny kid he makes lots of faces, that face with the pumpkin shirt
is a new one.

Upscale- hai- and I thought the o-shoes count as loading on dips and pullups

Joe- its ok just looks nasty.

So DJ -and I have been looking at my knee pics on G+
and he thinks its more likely osgood Shlatters which is what I thought in the beginning
its more of a genetic condition then an inflamation
not allot more then tape ice rest etc.

that being all said - all my knee - like my ass needed was a bit of attention and its good to go
so I squatted today for the first time in ?? 3 or 4 months.

a very HIGHLY caffeinated O-lifter guy who I train with sometimes guided me through some squats

here is what went down

11.10.11

mobility and med ball rolling

OH squat to drop snatch to back squat
95 a bunch

A OH squats 95 3 x10 2x 135 x10
B squat 1355x10, 225 2x5, 275 2x5 315 2x3
C BSS 45 4x10 each
D1 bb rollouts 4x10
D2 HLR 4x10

E Spin Bike Tabata 8 20/10

Notes

after warming up the O-lifter guy gets me to squat
changed up foot positions a bunch of times and found a med width stance
where my knee felt solid
and feet felt stable.

315 triples - depth isn’t the issue- nor speed
falling forward a bit and right foot tring to shift.
need to sit back more and do more good mornings

other shit- felt ok.
tabata bike dead.

thanks for reading

and thanks for not noticing my massive VMO
and giving that knee some love

nice work. love the Rowan pic, knee looks nasty

you know that kids pick up their funny faces from the parents right?

sounds like a great squat session. How’s the franken-knees this morning?

welcome back to the land of skwatties

Lol, nice.

Kevin, my Twins joke (bad one obviously) was in reference to the fact that both you and DCA are “blindingly pale”. Plus in the movie Twins, Arnold was tall and DannyDeVito was short; not that you’re as short as DeVito!!! (I’m only 5’8" myself, so I have to make fun when I can!)

Frenchie Knee is feeling good- glutes feeling crushed
so Im good.

how is your hip?

MJ- think I did ok will move to box squats on a speed day and front squats another day

PG - no worries I am slow witted most days.

I guess I am Danny DeVito sized to most tall people
you know - tall people over 5’10"

training today
11.11.11

mad mobility and PVC stiff and creaky

BB complex

bw row, RDL, jump shrug, clean
65 x5 95x5,135x5,155x5, 175 x3, 185 2x2 205 3x1

A1 clean to press 135x5,155x5,185 3x3
A2 NG pullup 5x10

B1 pendlay row 185 5x5
B2 dip 5x12

TRX
5 rounds of like 8 different things
mostly face pulls, inverted row and pushup crap

Notes
def feeling the BSS today - glutes crushed
hams crushed quads - actually sore too I think its the spin bike tabata

first round of bb complex felt super good
so I went ‘heavy’ the 205 cleans where kind of ugly

just did some upper crap after that
and then TRX for more conditioning

will catch up with you people later tonight

thanks for looking

Never tried the TRX. Looks complicated. But I’m kind of a lover of simple moves.

Always great work in here. You have many lifting talents. So much diversity in your training.

Great work as always. It’s great to have someone you can train with once in a while. Also great news about the knee and not being anything serious.

james

ooh. it never occurred to me that oly shoes were loading for pull-ups / chin-ups. i needed to get mine altered so they had even more heel raise… i think my shoes might be around 4kg now… that might explain why my chin-up performance is so variable :-/

Kevin, you must now change your thread title to “Kougar Kryptonite”

Your training always looks strong and interesting.

Snap thank you, that is a big compliment

TRX is kind of fun still figuring it out
its like a ratchet strap you play with.

James jury is still out on the knee it seems manageable if I stay smart.
It is cool to train with other people, this guy is a hard worker
super knowledgeable and funny as hell.

he is 47 Y.O. CRAZY o-lifter with good tips

Lexi- yes shoes count- so does gear.
so If gear whores where to do pullups- see the potential?

MJ- hmmm maybe if the cougars here, where to smack me on my donk I would do it.

thanks Joe I like that compliment too.

as for training looking varied,
5.3.1 is probably the smart move for most of us.
but I was b.o.r.e.d. so I do the crap I Like.

basically I want to get stronger
dabble in the O-lifts
improve conditioning
and maintain if not improve mobility and flexibility

oh and get taller-
see modest goals.

will post later with training and vids…

I feel ya on the taller…I always wanted to break 6ft…woulda been nice, fucking 5’9"

Matty
I would give a functioning bodypart
a good one
to break 5’9"

at 6 feet- Id loose any mechanical advantage I have
and would be a bench- curl-crunch bro.

and my hands would prob be small and weak.

fuck you tall people

training 11.14.11

mobility and pvc at home
Jump rope 5 mins
some more mobility stuffs, lunging etc.

2( HLR x15, OH squat 65x15)

BB complex BO row ,RDL, jump shrug, PC 135 3x3, 155 3x3

A Deadlift 135 x8,225x5,315 2x3,405 3x2, 425 3x1
B db stepup 12" box 50 db’s 4x12
C Air Humps 225x12,275x8,315 2x6
D Dimmel dead 155 2x20
E pull down abs 3x12
F spin bike tabata 8 of 20/10

Notes
all felt ok nothing great

  • elbows telling me time to do less of something
    or more of something

Pulls not great today- you can see some ramping in the last 425 single
step ups - sure I will feel these tomorrow
air humps hell yes.
dimel - wanted RDL to tired
tabata- pukerific

the ‘cardio room’ has like a projector and a movie screen and the lights out.
Im always like wtf?

vids

HLR this is how they usually look for me-
am I swinging too much?

last 405 dlb kinda crappy-

last 425 looks like more crap

Air humps still so much fun ?

Nice work Kev…with regards to the air humps, where exactly do you place the bar, when I do em I always end up squishing my balls!
