Don’t worry pat, Mak believes abortion is a right because the embryo has zero rights of their own. The fetus is alive from the moment of conception. Yet they grow up in the uterus of another person and are subject to the whim of the woman who partook in their creation. Mak please correct me if I am failing to understand you thus far. I ask in above posts ^ to help clarify your position.
So if I refuse to explain myself to a cretin like yourself, you’ll decide my view for me?
I will not attempt to clarify anything for you until you can demonstrate an ability to read and comprehend words and sentences without twisting them. You adopt this view of “you’re either with me or against me” which in a matter that is not black and white (no matter how much you wail about it being so) is the wrong stance to take.
“and are subject to the whim of the woman who partook in their creation”
This would be a classic example of your inability to see shades of grey. I realize it’s hard to step into the grown up world, but you should really try it.
You fail to call me a hick because someone might become offended. Then you stoop to a level of calling me a ‘cretin’. I can bite my tongue when partaking in a civilized conversation. Interesting how you fail in that regard.
Mak, how is it a lil’ one like yourself has this vast amount of knowledge? Somehow I doubt you have ever set foot on another continent besides the tiny wee one you are from. In fact you fail to even work a logical board like the one you choose to post in. Then you try and tell me I have never set foot in the grown up world.
This is off topic but I have lived on my own since the fall of '96. In fact I spent a year on my own before I graduated from high school. Then I proceeded to college, again on my own. Working full time along the way. I pursued the veterinary field before I was fed up with the bs of college in '02. In '03 I bought a new motorcycle and rode the R1 like a scolded dog. I soon found racing on a closed road course was the best experience ever, at least in my life. I proceeded to throw the #3 crank bearing at a track day, before a race weekend. My bike was not repaired for many months and I borrowed a friends bike, same model as mine. You see the result of what happens when some girl fails to see the world around her as she drove in a 3,000lb car that can kill <<<< I spent 6 weeks in a coma. After three years of trying to set myself straight, I went back to college. I graduated in '10 with a bachelors of science in pre-Veterinary Medicine. I am still trying to find my place in the world and should finish another degree in January of next year. Almost forgot, zero loans and currently am paying my own route. Please tell me YOU have done MORE in LESS time! I know you fail to work a LOGICAL board yet claim somehow I am NOT logical. And how many informative posts do you have? Curious.
Please enlighten me how abortion is ‘gray’ because I know death will ALWAYS happens in regard to a defenseless child, ALWAYS!! Please tell me you know this happens and you still want the subject to be gray.
Something tells me you will never inform me if abortion is a right. Please, a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ will suffice.

No, I implied not all Americans are hicks. You certainly are though.

Oh KD unbunch your panties will ya? LOL
I’m just pointing out that this thread will end up with all the same participants it normally does.
And after you get your question about “is it a right” answered your next question will be…
“So tell me when does human life begin?” At least I think that’s the route it usually goes.
Sorry if I got it wrong, off work with a back injury and bored out of my mind…
Is this the best you can bring Mak? Condescending remarks from a little boys has never gotten anything from me, let alone getting upset. Your ignorance shines through, with brilliance, so thank you.

Sorry LF, my underwear is draped around my ass like normal. Far from waded :o ]
I am honestly curious how someone can define life, all while the that life can be terminated. With simply some other person’s choice being crucial. I would like to understand how their brains work.
I just want to know if this is a right, and if so granted by whom. I honestly do NOT know because I am just from the States, all while having no life experience according to some ; )
PS - I hope you have a speedy recovery and this current injury is soon behind you and merely a memory of days long past.

Here’s my personal stance on it- until that baby has reached a certain stage of prenatal development, it’s just a fast-growing collection of cells within the mother’s body. If the mother detects it during that stage and decides she doesn’t want it to be there, it’s her body and it’s her right to eliminate something that, if unwanted, is no better than a tumor. The fact that it could grow into a human life eventually is completely irrelevant.
There’s too many people wasting resources on this planet already to introduce more that nobody wants. The idea that every single bloody person that’s ever conceived should be allowed to grow to maturity and reproduce is patently ridiculous, and is at least partly responsible for the world’s population problems today. The mother doesn’t want it, she doesn’t have to have it. End of story, everyone profits.

That’s pretty lame - that sort of thing is only funny if they first know what they’re talking about and have some insight. Religion can be enormously hilarious when looked at in a certain way. But he’s too ignorant to be funny and has no idea what he’s talking about.
I love how he says he wouldn’t like eternity because “I don’t like thinking.” That’s readily apparent.
He also said that he “hates life.” This, curiously enough, seems very common among so-called atheists. In G.K. Chesterton’s novel Manalive, there’s a character called Innocent Smith; he carries a pistol with him wherever he goes “to save lives.” When he meets someone who professes to “hate life” and sees it not worth living, he holds said pistol up to their heads and tells them to say goodbye to the world. The person (invariably a professor who’s been brainwashed by nihilistic philosphies) invariably begs for their life. LOL.
Nihilism is a pose - which is another reason that guy isn’t funny: he isn’t honest. You can’t be funny if you’re not honest.
Hello all!

back to the OP…
If a woman has the right to choose to either give birth to a child and force parents(mom, dad) or the state to financially support that child, why does not the sperm doner(the father) have the similar right to force the mom to either have the child, kill it, or choose not to support it.
If fairness and logic is the guide, If the mom has the child without the fathers consent, he should not be obligated to financially support that child.
where is the fathers “right to choose”?
dont even try to say “he chose to have sex with her without protection” crap either, the female similarly chose too.
and as my mom said, a woman can run a lot faster with her skirt up than a man with his pants down.

Where is this ‘stage’ of life and who gets to determine this event. Science maybe? Please tell me.

Is this how you amass 14,000 posts of dribble from your mouth?
Thought as much. Mak, YOU are literally too stupid to insult.

I can’t believe you work yourself up like this over my posts KD. It can’t be good for your stress levels, which in turn will probably be bad for your training.
Are you truly so full of yourself you think this is me worked up? Way to give yourself way more credit than even the mom you live with. lol ; )

Come now, you can do better than that. I don’t live with my parents. I have many flaws, but you pick one that doesn’t exist?
Yeah, you mad.
How long ago did you move out? Do they still help you with food and/or doing your laundry? Are both your parents still together? How many years married? First time for each of them?

They live in a different city and the extent of interaction we have is a once weekly phone call that lasts about half an hour. I don’t see how my parents private life concerns you, but just for reference so you don’t start making shit up… 25 years married, 3 kids, and yes - still on their first marriage.
