Surveillance cameras are a neat thing - how safe those children are!
I say we should install cameras in people’s homes. That way we’ll make sure no child will ever get raped.

I got a certified letter from the FBI with a long detailed document detailing the circumstances under which they took possession of the computer equipment from my house and a form describing the process for my challenging the seizure if I were so inclined.
The last part left me a bit disconcerted never having been in these circumstances before so I called the lady special agent on her cell phone (yes, she gave me her cell phone number, surprised me too).
I apologized for calling and assured her that the number would likely never be used by me again, but could she please further elucidate the meaning of this document for me. She told me it is strictly routine whenever property is removed from any private concern and I only received it because my house was where it was taken from.
She thanked me again and sort of implied that what I had described seeing was not the worst of what was there and that a larger investigation was underway. I knew better than to even attempt to get any more than that so it could be anything.

Murder is, to my mind, the most foul of the three. Followed by rape, with pedophilia way off in a distant third. As long as the bozo who’s jacking off to the pictures doesn’t actually touch a child, and the pictures are not of children engaging in ilicit and unwholesome activities, then as sick as he is, he’s not hurting anybody.
All three men do not deserve death, in my estimation. If I were a judge, I would sentence the murderer to be executed, after forty years of breaking rocks at Fort Leavenworth. The rapist would get a life sentence without possibility of parole, at a maximum security prison (it would be a nice touch if he had a tattoo on his forehead that advertised his offense, so that the other inmates would treat him appropriately).
The guy jacking off to pictures of children is actually breaking no laws, and is a threat to nobody, so I as a judge could pass no judgment against him. However, I would recommend that he see a psychiatrist, and possibly be kept away from real children.
