Keto Diet for me

I read the bodybuilders of the 70s would basically run keto diet during the week and then on Sundays they’d gorge on whatever they wanted.

I’ve been on keto and have stalled. I was wondering if I had 1 cheat meal to pull myself out of ketosis and then dive right back into it stimulate my body to burn off some more fat.

Anyone have experience in this area? Thanks for any input you have!

This is pretty much what I do. Stole it from Jamie Lewis’ Apex Predator diet. You also see this in Vince Gorinda’s “Steak and Eggs/Maximum Definition Diet”.

That said, I’ve also used this same approach to GAIN weight (I’m currently doing that), so be aware it’s not a silver bullet. If you eat too much, you’ll still gain weight.

Out of curiosity, how do you determine you’re in ketosis? I don’t use urine strips, but I get the metallic keto breath as a benchmark.

Pee in your mouth

I’ve yet to see someone actually gain fat on Keto… that said calories aren’t nearly as important as we once thought…thank God

Stalled in fat loss or muscle gain?

I have. Ethan Suplee actually talks about this very experience a bit.

He looks incredible now. Good for him.

Oh yeah, Robert Sikes too. You can see him put on fat with a keto diet.

Post a dick pic coward !

Is he the Keto Brick guy?

You can look him up

Guys, can we take this somewhere else?

I suppose we’ve need this for a while.

Back to keto.

Dude we’re joking

In someone else’s topic, where he is asking a legit question and trying to get an answer to it. Its negatively impacting signal-to-noise ratio.

Likely no.

Are you very lean?

You don’t need to keto diet to lose weight, but if that’s what you want to do, that’s fine.

Are you following a serious, rigid plan for weight loss?
