I like the way you paint the story. You got it wrong the other day, and your still hoping it will turn in your favor.
It was a press relaease. Leave 'em for Dead Ted didn’t even have the balls to stand up and deliver a speech about it. Sounds like a proud american to me.
You also got one more thing slightly skewed. There is another direction this can take. The complete destruction of the Democrat Party.
The only reason this story won’t die is because of left-wing partisans that just can’t grasp the fact that they lost.
Nothing will come of this - except more seats for the Right.

Interesting question for you Joe, would you complain if someone jumped in to express support for you or your viewpoint?
Elk is a damned good man. Not to be overly melodramatic, but he doesn’t have to jump into the trenches like he does! I wish he wouldn’t, because he takes a lot of fire for it that he otherwise wouldn’t have to. So, what does he do, he jumps directly into the line of fire. That’s quality.
We’re outnumbered Elk, run man, run! I’ll hold them off as long as I can… 
Luckily, this is only a political forum and the consequences are pretty minor.
Oh, and did I hear somebody say something about snide little asides… it would be more effective if you avoided them when you complained about them. Sorry.

I’m sorry, but these don’t overly impress me. They’re good schools, but for my field of study, the state schools I went/am going to are also quite good. Besides which, I graduated from undergrad with much better than a C average.
I have heard that he was smarter before he used cocaine, but I can’t really see that a C average is all that great to begin with.

I like Joe and his style. It would not be a problem at all if those ‘attacked’ realized that it was, in fact, tounge and cheek.
You know in all the locker rooms I’ve been a part of, tough shit is said between friends. It’s the way guys communicate and I think we can do better than feign attack each time. Just slam back–and move on.

Everyone’s fine. Lot of trees down and some local flooding, but we are out of the basement and watching it pour. Over 3 inches of rain in the past 1.5 hours.
