Kerry to Call for IMPEACHMENT

Whew, glad you and your’s are safe. Awfully wet up there for you folks!
vroom wrote:
They have a name for that: “Rumor mongering.”

It’s a disgusting practice! I suggest you stop doing it.

Strange, during the last election, I didn’t hear you say this about any republican positions, some of which were blatently rumor mongering.
vroom:

“positions” are one thing, a mans reputation is quite another. I’m surprised that I would have to explain that to you!

Zeb, you are so blind…

Every POTUS is hated by some faction inside the United States.

Over $100 million of tax payers money was wasted on trying to get Clinton. Now thats hate…

I can not think of a President (right or wrong) was not hated by some segment of the population.

It is too bad.

Yes, Zeb, if were not going to be hypocritical and fully acknowledge hate then what about the hatefilled propaganda that the right spewed about Clinton or Al Gore, you know Hannity, Limbaugh… He’s crazy, He’s a lunatic, surely that’s not loving or even friendly or respectful.

What about back when Bush was campaigning against Mcain and his campaign people started the telephone poles about “what if Mcain had fathered an illegitimate black child”. That seems pretty hateful behavior that good ol Satan would approve of. Not something you would consider approved by a pious man.

There is plenty of Hate to go around on both sides Zeb, please remain in the realm of reality with your accusations of hate.

Wow, Elk you sort of hit below the belt with that one, and I’m surprised!

You assumed that because I did not mention that the two acts above were dispicable, that I liked them? The topic was Bush not McCain or Clinton. Why do you automatically assume that I don’t think those were hateful acts against those men?

This is a tactic that is beneath you Elk.

Because Zeb, you keep refrencing hateful behaviour “The Bush hater” “The left hates Bush so much”. Implying that the conservative right is above this and honorable.

One of the main problems I have with this new brand of conservative politics is their guise of Jesus loving honorable above reproach kinda folks.

When in reality there tactics have been the total polar opposite of what I would consider honorable or ethical behavior. Whether it’s campaiging against one of their own (McCain) or Smearing a candidate from the left or using religion to manipulate the masses.

It seems the Republican party has adopted a backsliding mentality in regard to morals and standards when it comes to winning an election or starting a war.

So if you keep calling the left Bush haters, I will keep making these comparisons as well.

One last thing Zeb about hate and Bush. I will use one of the lines you guys like to use in regard to gays on Bush. We don’t hate the sinner, we hate the sin.

I have stated before on this very forum that the far right and the far left have one thing in common: the hit below the belt…hard and often!

And it that is the case I think that is fair commentary! However, while it’s the case with you, I don’t think it’s the case with everyone on this forum who might hold some of your political views.

So he took a run through the ugly forrest and hit every tree… does that make him so terrible? (j/k)

That is a rather unflattering picture.

I bet you that if Kerry were photogenic he’d have won the last big erection…

The last big erectlon… ha!

Keep thinking that vroom. That’s simply one more put down to the American voters!

I prefer to think that he lost because because of many factors, two of which:

 1. A senator (they rarely win the Presidency. John Kennedy was that last one who did it.

 2. Far to liberal. When is the last time that a liberal won the White House? Even Clinton had to pretend to be a middle of the road “new democrat” to win the big prize.

He also ran a lousy campaign.

As he picked up a hammer and saw.

Marm,

You may not believe it, but I didn’t look up either fact.

Hard to say I don’t know about my Republicans!!!

I know, Pierce wasn’t a Republican.

They got their start: July 6th, 1856.

But, I’d say their first President set one hell of a tone!!!

you know, you’ve said something like this a few times now.
Are you trying to tell us something?
Did he win your last erection, vroom? Is that what this is about?

For those who don’t know the correct answer to have you ever used cocaine before is: “no”

I would have said no.

Of course, this sort of criticism is humorous coming from you lumpy.

Being a die-hard billyboy supporter…

Of course, one would have to define “is” much more clearly.

It’s a quote, not a critique, ya see?

Zeb,

Oh biased one, that is not a put down at all. It is a simple fact of life, that people who are photogenic get higher approval ratings. It’s also true in Canada, and other countries, so spare me the anti-American mischaracterization.

Don’t blame me, blame the science that has done the research into this area.

The reason I said what I did was because the election was very very close in some swing areas. A little bit of shift due to some photogenicity and things might have been different.

It’s not some agenda to simply point out what may or may not be factually correct, but is simply speculation based on previously published research into human behavior.

Please, get a grip.

It’s an opinion, more conjecture really, and if you think I’m wrong, that is fine, but no need to go off the deep end and try to cast the comment into something it isn’t. Vintage Zeb!
