Kerry to Call for IMPEACHMENT
They have a name for that: “Rumor mongering.”

It’s a disgusting practice! I suggest you stop doing it.
Strange, during the last election, I didn’t hear you say this about any republican positions, some of which were blatently rumor mongering.

Au contraire, this thread is just starting to get lively!

Every POTUS is hated by some faction inside the United States.

Over $100 million of tax payers money was wasted on trying to get Clinton. Now thats hate…

I can not think of a President (right or wrong) was not hated by some segment of the population.

It is too bad.

Anyone care to guess who the 14th President of the United States was and what significance that has to the Bush family?

Nice try but the Bush family was deeply ensconced in the north east power stucture as well as the booming oil business in Texas.

You are either intellectually dishonest or you need to google Prescott and HW’s respective pasts.

Actually I do know their past, that’s why I pointed out the H.W. was a millionaire and said the his father attended Yale also, the implication being that his father had some money also. I never claimed H.W. or W. were self made men. Next time I will be more literal. I didn’t add anything about oil because I thought it was pretty common knowledge that they were associated with the industry. But if the Bush family was so powerful how come H.W. didn’t blow right through Yarborough on his way to the Senate?

There is that pesky little part about voters getting in the way…it is what makes America so great!

News Flash: These rich A-holes do not care about you and me but as long as you are going to approach politics like a sport they win and you lose regardless of which party you rah ray for.

Yes, Zeb, if were not going to be hypocritical and fully acknowledge hate then what about the hatefilled propaganda that the right spewed about Clinton or Al Gore, you know Hannity, Limbaugh… He’s crazy, He’s a lunatic, surely that’s not loving or even friendly or respectful.

What about back when Bush was campaigning against Mcain and his campaign people started the telephone poles about “what if Mcain had fathered an illegitimate black child”. That seems pretty hateful behavior that good ol Satan would approve of. Not something you would consider approved by a pious man.

There is plenty of Hate to go around on both sides Zeb, please remain in the realm of reality with your accusations of hate.

Hey JTF - was that Monday our time, or Monday in the Middle East? 'Cause I’m looking at my watch and it says Tuesday.

Why shouldn’t we trust AJ? Didn’t they run with photos of a GI Joe doll and tell everyone that it was a hostage?

Maybe now you’ll think before you post you tin foil hat garbage. You were wrong. The story you wanted to believe so badly was wrong as well. Ever consider what posting shit like this might do to your credibility?
Instead of Kerry it was Kennedy who raised the issue and it ended up being Tuesday not Monday - boy do I feel stupid now, my credibility is shattered. How will I ever live this down?

The following was released by Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) on the Downing Street Minutes this morning. Kennedy becomes the first senator to raise the issue in the Senate, after earlier reports that Massachusetts’ junior senator, John Kerry, would speak about the minutes in Washington.

While the word “impeachment” is not actually used, there is NO other direction if this gains momentum.

Hey Rain, maybe if you wish hard enough it will all go away… then again maybe not.

Joe, why do you have to jump in out of the blue and be a dickhead like that?

I mean, getting between other people’s banter, pulling out negative comments, and adding insults like that, it detracts from the conversation (especially when I waste my breath replying).

Hell, I managed to step past the attack and it was directed right at me!

Oh, I get it, it’s just a “joke” and you are really just trying so hard to get along with me.

Why are you such an angry and bitter person?
I suppose I could just ask you the same questions, eh?

For the record–even some more or less on “your side” have begun to question your attitude recently.

Think about it.

And then lighten up a little.

Okay, so you jump into a conversation, insult me, I call you on it, then I am supposed to lighten up.

There is a difference between banter and insult. Perhaps you should figure out what that is. I’d appreciate it.

Heck, I’ve never claimed not to be a bastard, but at lest I really try to do two things in this regard:

 1. I try to limit being a bastard to the politics or off-topic forums. I may slip up from time to time, apologies to the world for those circumstances.

 2. I try very hard to make sure I’m helping beginners and contributing to the site in general.

Howabout I offer a counter suggestion to your most excellent little proposal. Why don’t you try throwing less insults and being more constructive, at least just a little?

Psst, by the way, I don’t know about you, but to the best of my knowledge I’m not in a popularity contest.

Hmm, JTF, that is interesting.

I’ll admit to being curious and if indeed something did come out of this, I’d be really curious about why Al-Jazeera would be the source of this knowledge.

Joe, stop it already you are constantly nitpicking!!! If you want to get along stop with the analyzing and back in post 136 you said this and now it means this. It’s childish. Vroom aint perfect, I aint perfect, and you aint damned perfect.

Again, Joe, at times you remind me of a kid on the playground with the way you try to win approval or an argument. They are very small swim around the edges and then zip in like a perch on a grasshopper when you thing you have found some transgression.

Just state your damn opinion on the issue and quit trying to be Zeb going after Vroom.

marmadogg,

Franklin Pierce?

Barbara’s family.

Any more questions?

Jesus, I’m fantastic!!!

My but it is a heavy burden you struggle with each day, isn’t it.

Since I get PM’s from people–including mods, thank you–thanking me for bringing some humor around, I gotta think I’m kinda doin’ okay, mostly.

But you’ve had a hard-on for me for about 2 months now. And frankly, I grow weary.
It grates on me, vroom.

I had a problem with something you did that I thought was a seriously pussy thing to do. I called you on it, you slung and flung some fecal matter at me trying to provide yourself some cover…and have been making little snide comments about me ever since.
And damned if I didn’t fall squarely into the trap of fighting back.
But don’t you sit there now–in the midst of your spinning and dodging and pretend to be blameless here.

According to your little rationale…I wouldn’t be able to post at all on these threads, because pretty much all attempts at conversation involve getting into someone elses banter.
If it’s that important to you, take it to a PM. Otherwise…man up.
I mean that wholeheartedly. Man up.

Elk, you were doing so well, too. You’d gone a whole day without crawling up vroom’s butt.

Oh well. Better luck tomorrow, buddy.

justthefacts stated that Ike opposed changing Social Security in 1952.

Please check that date. Wasn’t that fifty-three years ago.

Here’s the venerable senior democratic senator from West Virginia around the same time period.

It was during this period that Byrd - supposedly by then an EX-Klansman - was advising Grand Imperial Wizard Samuel Green on whom to appoint to important posts in the hierarchy of the hate group. In a letter to Green, Byrd urged, “the Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia” and “in every state in the Union.”

A year later in 1948, Byrd opposed President Truman’s initiative to integrate the Armed Forces - and he did so using the language of a very much active Klansman.

The powerful Senate Democrat vowed then that he would “never submit to fight beneath that banner (the American flag) with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Any more commentary about 1948 to 1952?

Joe, I don’t give a good goddamn if you get PM’s from President Bush, or oh my gosh, even TC himself. Why don’t you grow up a little bit.

You are still crying over the fact that I distanced myself from you several months ago? Is that it? Please, tell me you really haven’t been chasing me around the place for months because I said “don’t blame me for Joe’s comments” after you’d agreed with me?

You don’t think calling me a “fucking mealy mouthed coward, straight up” was enough of a retaliation? You have sunk down to pretty low depths bub, to lecture me about this stuff.

In this thread, particularly, you’ve come out of nowhere with your brand of “fighting back”.

It takes two to tango buddy. I’m very happy to let people read the forums, see my behavior, see your behavior, and let them make their own judgments.

You might recall suggesting a “truce” recently? You might recall saying “truce schmooce” when I suggested your comments were annoying me? Which is it? Do you want a truce or not? If you are going to keep asking for truces, it would be nice if you would consider honoring them.

So, maybe you can go back to counting up how many PM’s you’ve gotten or something, because obviously there is something lacking in your life the way you keep lashing out out at the world.

Maybe when you get 100 PM’s from your favorite T-Nation members and moderators you can trade them in for a personality or something? Good luck.

Hey, marmadogg, I meant to ask earlier…why are you so hot to link Franklin Pierce and GWB?
Did you think FP gave GWB some kind of advantage?

I’m actually related to both of them (I get GWB on both mother and father’s side)–the curse of having parents and grandparents passionate about geneology. Should I be expecting some sort of advantage?

Just askin, not rippin.

Despite what vroom and elk would have you believe, I can and do carry on civilized conversations.

my vroom but you do work yourself into a frightful lather.
pick up something heavy. Repeat. Eat.
Go to bed. It’ll be okay.

so if I’m reading this correctly, exalted one, I’m not allowed to say anything at all to you, about you or near you, meanwhile you can and have continued to pound me with the little snide asides?
Well, as long as I know.
