Please vroom–right here is an intersection as to where the thread goes. Can you see it? Do you see where you are leading this discussion?

Take a valium buddy. Oh yes, I recall, you aren’t my buddy and all that crap. Look, there isn’t anything at all insulting in what I said. Why don’t you get off my back, okay mom?

You, yourself, just lead this discussion out of the topic and into what you think I’m doing… when I wasn’t doing anything. Proceed with replying to the on-topic posts, and we’ll continue to stay on topic.

Funny–you should read my PM to someone. I predicted you’d do just what you did. First you insult my intelligence and then you spin it so you find no blame with yourself, and put it on another.

Classic!

You could have taken the right road, instead you took your usual one. unfortunate vroom, I used to think you just liked a spirited discussion. Now I’m sure it’s all about drawing attention to yourself.

Poor poor pitiful you–Linda R.
BTW, this might well be the best post of the thread. And yes, I realize I’m cheering from the sidelines. Just like Professor X and Elk have been doing, so I’ve got good company.

I wish more people could see vroom as clearly.

Wrong… They obviously don’t say none, they say private accts aren’t the solution, note Bush now concedes, bye bye private accts.

PS, send me a copy of that PM…please. I wanna bask in the reflected glory of a prognosticator!

Yes–Poor poor…
but I believe it was Linda R, but maybe Warren did it first or wrote the tune.

Now you pickin’ on me?

Social Security is a problem. Bush offered up a potential solution. That is exactly what leaders do!

What is the alternative program offered up by the democraps? Oh that’s right they have none.

Both candidates were horrible. They were both also horrible debaters. The cream certainly does not rise to the top in American elections. In regards to Bush I do feel we should have a president who is actually speaking English. Is that too much to ask?

In regards to his botched/mangled speaking, it goes way beyond debates and public talks. Everybody can look like an idiot if you clip a few video snippets together and select a few choice stupid statements. That is not the case with Bush, it’s much, much, much, much worse. It’s not just that he mangles the English language, it’s what he has said over the years that’s really frightening. (Keep in mind I hated Kerry too). Somebody could at least give a plausible argument for Bush over Kerry in the last election but I feel defending him as a person or the job he’s done means to me that person hasn’t researched him.

The republican machinery and the team that was assembled for Bush along with democratic bumbling, Clinton aftereffects, and weak competition put Bush in the white house and the same along with circumstances/911 kept him in there. My personal opinion is he could not have come at a worse time for America.

Moving on, I see the main challenges to America

 • The “dumbing” of America and us losing our competitive edge. Less money spent on R&D, less educated work force, outsourcing of skilled labor, drying up of innovation (the one thing we always had going for us). Were going to lose probably almost all production to our competitors, if we then lose our innovation edge we’ll just be a service economy. If ya don’t make it and ya don’t create it…well at least you can deliver the supplies (which were made in China) Were going to get our butt’s kicked. Unfortunately pumping more iron in the gym ain’t gonna help in this battle.
 • Education. Math and science scores, state of public schools, state of minority students
 • Environment (look at the trends, It’s ominous)
 • Security/terrorism/foreign relations/root causes
 • Pandemics and the economic effects of them.

(On a side note, I feel culturally we are also going down the toilet.)

I don’t believe Bush is equipped to handle any of these challenges and in regards to the environment the guy should be thrown in jail…though I could be wrong…I hope I’m wrong.

Powell 2008!

Perish the thought I should pick on you!!

I don’t see why this surprises anyone. If you have the connections and the money to become president, it doesn’t really matter what your grades are. You’ll go to a top college, and if you want to you can go to a top grad school after that. There is no incentive to do well.

You win–

now back to that Terri Schaivo discussion that you claimed victory…

Sasquatch,

This is priceless! Talk about making assumptions. My lot in life has never actually been better – I’m pretty damned happy about where things are going in my life.

So, I see you are now going to play the PM games? You too realize that is more than a little childish right?

Anyway, if the leaders of our great capitalist engine are so pure, why are they leading companies that are always getting in trouble for breaking environmental laws, financial regulations and so on? Why do the top men get caught breaking the rules and padding their pockets? There are serious ethical problems out there in the world.

These folks aren’t choirboys. Sure, plenty are good, even great, but unless you yourself have been there, you have no clue what you are talking about.

Convince me you have the ability to have some insight and I’ll be more interested in your opinion on the state of humanity as it reflects story book time idyllic proportions.

Anyway, keep the baseless insults flowing, then blame me if I let loose with a few of my own. It’s vintage Sasquatch.
ZEB wrote:
I have to disagree with you again. Neither Kerry or Bush are morons! If you had to debate either of them you would be crushed!
OK, so they’re not morons by your standards. They sure are by mine. Kerry for reason of his moronic campaign tactics, Bush for the same, plus his moronic policies as president.

As for who would get crushed in a debate, it’s sheer speculation on your part. You don’t know me, and nobody ever saw GWB perform in open debate.

How can it be vintage Sasquatch? He hasn’t even been here long enough to be vintage?
You on the other hand have a loooong history of this stuff.

Glad to hear you’re happy with how things are going for you. If you’re so happy in ‘real life’ why not let some of it spill over…in other words, stop the PMS already.

Did I claim victory or did I say I had you on the ropes?

Cause I remember you saying that I was saying some things you hadn’t heard/thought of before.
okay, so I forgot to put a  or a or even a (j/k) after it.
I sort of figured most people would be able to tell it was a joke considering the way it was structured.
Joe, has it ever occurred to you that you can be joking and still be biased? Whoa! Imagine that.

Joe, unless you are getting insulted when I suggest you have some bias, which really isn’t an insult, I don’t see why you’ve bothered to start into the insults again?

Oh, yes, I know, calling me a dick above, and this here, those are jokes. Yes, again, you can be joking and still be insulting too.

Although you already knew that too.

Classic vroomie…shift a little, put words in someone’s mouth and then berate them for it.
Classy.

No. Me telling/asking you to let go of the whole PMS thing you’re into right now is not an insult.
It’s me telling you that your life will be better if you stop being so angry and bitter.

Joe, Joe, Joe. You know damned well that PMS is a women’s issue. You also know damned well accusing someone around here of having PMS is an insult.

Don’t try to backpedal your way out of it…

Own up to it. Be proud of your style of insulting me at every single opportunity you have, whether or not it is supposedly a joke at times.

Now, if you wouldn’t complain that I’m attacking you all the time, I’d simply strike back and attack you for it.

As it is, I’m reduced to simply pointing this out, because you, Sasquatch and Zeb are in a mode where you think it is interesting to the world to point out “my behavior” instead of discussing issues.

So be it.

There ya go chief. But I’m quite sure this doesn’t qualify me to answer any of your questions w/r/t corprate America.

Of course there exists greed, for every one you read about there are 100 who aren’t involved. The glass is half-full vroom. P.M.A. man.
