Kerry & Bush Grades The Same!

I just thought I’d point out that a 76% is pretty shitty no matter who it goes to. It’s a SOLID C based on that scaling system presented, most places now that’s a C-.

The real losers here are the PEOPLE of not only America but the world, because we have DIPSHIT leaders not only in the Whitehouse, but also in Congress. It’s too bad that the LEADER of the free world couldn’t even average a friggin B, and he’s expected to be smart enough to know his shit… sad.

God Help US!

This is just an observation from what I’ve seen on most of the political forums but could it be that the members of this site who have conservative leanings outweigh the members with liberal leanings?

I wonder if there may be a correlation between being an “alpha” personality and voting toward the right end of the spectrum. It seems to me the Alpha Male sups are working great. Send me a crate so I can find the “piece of mind” this site deserves.

Let’s face it. The Democrats started calling Bush dumb because the campaign they ran had little to no substance.

Using a timeless Democratic strategy they then attacked the intelligence of the opposition rather then the issues.

Unfortunately the Republicans started playing tit for tat ovee the issue of intelligence.

Let’s face it. They both went to Ivy League Schools and Bush has an MBA from Harvard. Niether are dumb fucks and if they were not where they are now they would probably be running large companies. One became President, the other a Senator. Both have led accomplished lives.

Lots of smart people don’t get the best grades. What’s the big deal?
How many people in congress are there that got straight A’s?

You all should be proud of yourselves!! All this arguing and not one person used the beaten to death STRAWMAN.

Wrong!

We had to hear for the better part of one year how much smarter Kerry was than Bush.

Therefore, for the next few days you are going to have to hear about how, based upon their college grades that is just not the case!

I also remember SAT scores and military IQ tests being higher for GW Bush!

Why do these guys always want to change the conversation when it doesn’t come out the way they planned?

That’s the point, guy. This whole discussion is as broken as last year’s election. And don’t ‘you guys’ me, thanks. You think I’m a Kerry fan?

Both candidates for president in the 2004 election sucked. Y’all should be asking why the system is so broken it puts you up to a choice between two morons.[/quote]

I have to disagree with you again. Neither Kerry or Bush are morons! If you had to debate either of them you would be crushed!

Well, from Bush by facts and the truth, but from Just For Kerry…from the weight of the hot air…pressing down…cutting off the oxygen…can’t breathe…

Wow, I can’t believe how sheltered an existence you must have led to not realize that people get to the top for a lot of reasons, not many of them having to do with whether someone is a moron or not.

The world that Barney teaches us, where we all get along and get to the top based on our inherent deserving abilities is a load of crap. Sure, it does happen, but at the same time through nepotism, age, or other means, there are a lot of people in a lot of positions that simply don’t deserve to be there.

I’m not talking specifically about Kerry or Bush in this respect, before anyone gets their nose out of joint.

Joe,

GW would trounce everyone in a debate but Kerry would do it via hot air? Yeah, I think I see a bit of bias here.

Yes I should have been more descriptive. Our discussion has been about President of the U.S. so my reference was to them and to large/global/fortune 500 type companies, not mom and dads grocery store.

Don’t start with the bs nitpicking and equating my thoughts to Barney. Try to stay on the level of the discussion and quit looking for things to pick about.

You need to get over losing out on that promotion!

What’s worse is that if the same words had come facing the opposite direction, three other posters would have lept at the chance to point out “hatred” and “negativity”. This argument is tired. If people can’t see how they are just like the people they keep trying to find fault with, then nothing else can be said. Hypocrite. That word used to mean something.

baaaaaaa…baaaaaaaa…

okay, so I forgot to put a  or a or even a (j/k) after it.
I sort of figured most people would be able to tell it was a joke considering the way it was structured.

Unless of course you’re trying to be a dick and pick on every little thing I say…wah!
Oh…no, wait. That’s what you accuse me of doing.

I guess that means you’re just in that small percentage with no sense of humor, eh?

(notice my use of Canadian lingo, in an attempt to establish a kind of common bond.)

You couldn’t even see the sarcasm in JW’s post. You really need to let the little shit go and not just try to start crap that ain’t there.

Please vroom–right here is an intersection as to where the thread goes. Can you see it? Do you see where you are leading this discussion?

The original post was a joke for craps sake. Why look for shit that ain’t there. It should have been a non-responder–except…

I don’t know about that vroom.

I have had the opportunity to meet some very influetial business men, as well as a few Senators, Congressmen one Vice President and even two Presidents.

There was not a moron in the bunch! Plenty of times people gobble up the rumors spread about a particular candidate, and eat it up.

Dumb? Based upon which standard?

Compared to the average guy these guys (all of them both parties) are heavy weights!

Sasquatch, I find your assumptions about the level of business that I’ve been involved with quite amusing.

Everywhere you go, people in whatever position you can name, they are assholes and idiots. They rise to the top with no professional skills, padded resumes, no people skills, no social skills, no morals, no concerns other than looking out for number one.

Yes, indeed, there are also nice, intelligent, kind and deserving people, but mom and dads grocery store doesn’t even have a corporate hierarchy, so I don’t think you have any clue what you are talking about.

You can also stop worrying about my career, I’ve never run into any problems in that regard, thanks for all of your obviously heartfelt concern.

Take a valium buddy. Oh yes, I recall, you aren’t my buddy and all that crap. Look, there isn’t anything at all insulting in what I said. Why don’t you get off my back, okay mom?

You, yourself, just lead this discussion out of the topic and into what you think I’m doing… when I wasn’t doing anything. Proceed with replying to the on-topic posts, and we’ll continue to stay on topic.

As an undergrad myself, I’d say we should put very little stock into college grades. There are a lot of idiots at my school who have equal or higher GPAs than I do, and I can tell you this…it’s not because they know the material better.

Please name me one CEO that is an idiot/moron? Your post infers that more are less deserving than reversed. You are a cranky little man who feels squashed by the heirchy. You blame your lot in life on some self perceived notion that so many get what they don’t deserve.

Not so chum. How many CEO’s are there by chance. because they were in the right spot right time, and nothing to do with there business acumen, professional skills, legitimate resumes, morals and empathy for others. Obviously, you have no clue what it takes to ascend corp. America.

Yes, some undeserving personalities make it there, But they overcome that with even more superior skills that carry them. You must be kidding me with your crazy ass assumption. Please get over yourself and your idea that mostly undeservin folk are running corporate America.

Funny–you should read my PM to someone. I predicted you’d do just what you did. First you insult my intelligence and then you spin it so you find no blame with yourself, and put it on another.

Classic!

You could have taken the right road, instead you took your usual one. unfortunate vroom, I used to think you just liked a spirited discussion. Now I’m sure it’s all about drawing attention to yourself.

Poor poor pitiful you–Linda R.

Sas, wasn’t that poor poor pitiful me?
And wasn’t it Warren Zevon?

PS, send me a copy of that PM…please. I wanna bask in the reflected glory of a prognosticator!
