I am just crackin up at the tagline, “Original Worlds Fittest Man” …so youre not a fan of a lil blood on the shins my friend? It looked worse than it was, just took a small bit off each shin, bled more than I thought it would.

Made for a funny moment when I texted my girlfriend, “ok so I have a funny picture for you, but you gotta promise NOT to freak out…”

Used to wear the blood on the shins like a badge of honor. But I have now seen several dudes get pretty severe infections. Not like we ever give that shit a chance to heal up.

One situation with a training partner got pretty bad, ended up involving the Dallas FD, PD, and the DEA. For real, all because of bad deadlift shins.

LOL damn steely, what a compliment

So I used my new monster minis tonight. Wow. Was not expecting that much resistance.

Yeah, pretty severe step up in tension. Checked out your log, good work, brah, you are gonna be sore tomorrow with all that volume, what did you take you Jack3d?

Post it here to not detract from your log though, next ME benching try what I stated before with the flat foot placement. Your feet are forward, and on your toes. Bring your legs back under your body as much as possible, and try both flat footed and on your toes/ball of your feet. Still seeing lack of stability. Think of Crawford-esque contortions. Maybe even get yourself over a piece of pvc. Not saying your benching is bad, you can get more stable and then more weight is all.

haha I aint your brah, brah.

Funny you should mention the foot placement, on the first few sets I worked on it, and figured out my ankles are unbelievably inflexible. That last set I just got lazy and went back to what came natural, and got up on my toes and lost some stability.

And I dont mind you saying my benching is bad, till I can beat you, its your right to tell me that.

Crazy numbers you’re going for Pete. Can’t wait to see how you do.

haha did I say it was to inflexible to be done? All I meant was that I got some stretching to do.

Regarding cutting the back of the shirt, this may be a “duh” question, but essentially I just go from the middle of the collar on the back, all the way down, and thats it?

deload week pump’n’fluff

leg press some sets x 15 reps per set, nothing outrageously heavy

pulldowns same as above

shrugs same as above

cable abs x a whole bunch

45 degree back extension 5 x 10

bike x 25 minutes

last liftin’, if you can call it that, before the meet.

pump’n’fluff

bench 225 x some, working on set up

cable chest press 4 x 15
cable shoulder press 4 x 15
face pulls 4 x 15
rope down/extension 4 x 15 each
cable curls 4 x 15

elliptical 25 minutes

pretty lame, but got blood flowing and feel good. will do some more cardio and have a massage scheduled for Thursday.

Great training Peter. Funny that your puff ‘n’ fluff is more then my real workouts. Makes me want a peanut butter and fluff sandwich.
