Got and used the briefs today. The smaller ones dont fit (at least not without someone to yank them up on me), but I got the larger ones on. Pulled a reverse band pr in them tonight.

Get someone to dress you. It’s amazing what you can smash into.
Are squat briefs cut like boxers? And what’s the benefit over suit bottoms?
Glad you got at least one pair to work for you, DF.
Squat briefs, aside from the ‘groove briefs’ are cut like the bottom half of a squat suit. The true benefit is if you work multiply you can get used to brief, then suit straps down, then full gear (breifs, suit straps up). For single ply USPF/USPA allows groove briefs under suit. I think SPFs single ply allows single ply briefs under a suit, but would have to confirm via their rule book.
Slept solid through the night, woke up still week as piss but hungry. Managed 30 minutes elliptical.
I lift USAPL. No briefs allowed.
Hope you’re feeling 100% soon, Pete.

Thanks Snapper.
Not making any comments on USAPL:)
What did you send me? Are both multi ply?
the smaller ones you can’t get on are the groove briefs, the others are single ply Inzer power pants.

Those were single ply? Nice, guess I can wear those under my suit. Thats gonna be a tight sqeeze.
Again, thank you so much for sending them.
DF double check your rule book to make sure. I am just ‘educated guessing’ above.
Nice lifting brother, hope you are feeling better… and looking forward to your meet, glad you managed to squeeze in (even though someone else’s misfortune).
Take care of yourself buddy… get healthy… oh, by the way… got my first squat suit, single ply Inzer size 38… looking forward to trying it :)… I almost feel dirty… like when you were a kid and got your first porno mag and couldn’t wait to go somewhere quiet where you could study the pages uninterrupted… lol!

Deep thought of the day: a few years back, at a commercial gym, I ended up with a some-time training partner who I will call Crazy Mike. Crazy Mike was a competitive powerlifter, highly ranked in the nation at the time. Mike would routinely squat over 700lbs in a commercial gym without a spotter(back then it wasn’t as bad now, we had good bars, chalk was expected, we had a deadlift platform), would shout and swear and spit, etc.
Mike was a top sales rep, had a young kid, etc. Mike was always very enthused to get in the gym. The way he explained it to me was he was excited because he ‘got to train’. He loved training that much, and he understood it was something to be happy about. Life could easily get in the way. Wives don’t always appreciate what we do, work gets in the way, kids sports/school/sick schedules get in the way.
I just thought about him, haven’t seen him in years. At one point he joined another gym, and before he left he did his best to insult every personal trainer, throw weights around, etc, until he got kicked out.
I am excited at work right now because tonight I ‘get to train.’
I am glad that you get to train tonight!
I like the way you think. Nice post.
