He might (as I say might because I have no proof) of messed up when taking these drugs, mixed them or maybe he was going through a lot of shit and decided to double the dose (hell you telling me you’ve never taken more than prescibed) to get it gone right then and there… Hell I don’t know. However neither did the guy I was talking too or you for that matter.
However what we do know for a fact is that he was getting them legally to help with w/e he was going through (pain, depression, schizophrenia or w/e) as prescribed by a doctor
