MMA - 1h got knee’ed on the balls while sparring, it’s still hurting today. finally we got to work on the ground, most of the guys there are Muay Thai fighters so they are pretty much white belts on the ground, i just rolled and steam-rolled through everyone. good for the ego.

Well one thing i noticed from dropping weight lifting and just focusing on fighting is that i am much much technical and my gas tank is much better, but since i wasn’t doing any ground work i didn’t have a measure about how strength was going, even though i tapped guys out it was pretty much due to positioning and technique, i don’t have the same strength as before(obvious since i spent quite some time as a couch potato this year)

i missed training twice a day.

MMA - 1h30 worked pads, sparring and got kneed in the teeth while doing pad work with a friend, thank god it wasn’t a full blow and i was wearing my mouth-guard.

got high kicked in the head and knocked down, we’ve got a new black belt over there who is pretty tough and seems to handle himself pretty well in the ground

also i don’t remember getting low kicked hard but i’m limping still today(it’s saturday)

i’m excited about improving and challenging him.
