emm… i only watched his videos in segments/interviews. Had some pretty good ideas about mind-body connection and his approach to life is slightly more sophisticated than other bocybuilders, don’t you agree?
I found his mind quite interesting. He was anything but your run of the mill bodybuilder.
I think he has a very slow, drawn out way of saying something very simple that every other bodybuilder says as well. He may choose his words a bit differently, but the things he’s advocating for are no different than anyone else in bodybuilding, IMO.
I’m not saying he’s wrong, and I’m not saying I dislike the guy for it, but choosing different words and bloviating over the same simple concepts that made every other successful bodybuilder successful is not sign of a great mind, I think is what justmatt was eluding to.

That is very true. I guess you could say that it’s annoying when a bodybuilder who tries to give advice does this since the content is stays the same but the form changed. But if he was an artist, then it would be a different story. If you convey a very simple concept with fancy ways of expression (making a feature film out of an idea that could be summed up in one sentence, for instance) then you might be praised for your creativity. But I get your point.
