Funny thing is I came a bit back,nowhere near to the point of falling,started laughing at the idea of falling back(while holding the weight at the top) and then fell due to lack of concentration

That’s some decent weight you’re shifting with the Z press. Do you find it easier than military?

My pin Z presses are around my ohp I estimate.My regular Z press is lower for sure

I find it to be way harder,it’s just that the higher pin possition gives me a slight advantage

First I thought this was funny
Then I remembered that a week ago I accidentally took a full grip instead of a suicide grip when doing close-grip bench and ended up almost killing myself because I was so confused about the situation.

As on every December,I decided to take 10 days off,so today I was in the gym just to pay the rest of my fees

Said screw it,threw 70 kg/154 lbs on the fatter bar that rolls and did a double.That’s a big pr

Also,I remember you asked me where’s my z pressing strength compared to the ohp

Now I can tell you,it’s way off

My ohp is probably around 75 kg,whereass even with the higher pins I can Z press 72.5 kg

My free Z press is 85 % of my regular press give or take

Last,I’ll not be around here a lot this week,so if you don’t see me around your log a lot don’t worry,I haven’t died

Less that 1 inch high.Maybe not a block pull at all.I just used some bigger 25 kg plates.Between the ground and 20 kg plates there was less than 2 finger space

I used a variety of plates though (cause that’s what I had available) and didn’t had the pleasure of watching 4 and a half plates on the bar
