Justice for Peanut

She had her own, weird ideas about things.

I’d say it is, if you believe taxation is theft. If someone doesn’t believe that, I don’t see an argument for it. The only argument for capitalism and against communism, in that case, is the superior living standards resulting from capitalism.

It’s not. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t greedy(like I said, capitalism doesn’t require the ubermensch). You can deny human nature, or you can have a few people claim what’s produced by everyone else. There’s a reason capitalist societies produce higher living standards for most than do socialist/communist societies.

Liberals are, at least

Then why question me on that?

Cheap goods made by slaves?

You left out the qualifier, and any economic system is amoral. Implementing one may involve immorality, however. Place A allows its people to keep their earnings; Place B threatens people with punishments if they don’t turn over some portion of their earnings…Place A would seem the morally superior society.

You don’t even believe that is a position held by anyone.

If it ever existed.

Fun fact -Alan Greenspan was a big Ayn Rand fan, and he got pretty far in life. It’s not the tool, unless one is a tool.

Plenty of people claim this but upon closer inspection, they cherry pick the things they like and ignore those things they don’t. It’s like the pro Christian, religious right Republicans who claimed her as an influence even though she hated religion, was an atheist and supported abortion rights.

Does the sex cult thing count?

As long as no Indians or Arabs show up.

Remember when the people making the Atlas Shrugged movie had to start a kickstarter campaign to ask for donations?

If you have to ask…

Hint, circle jerking on the interwebz is not it.

There was a cryptocurrency released based on this

Peanut the squirrel… a memecoin

Some guy sunk 15$ into it as an investment (as a joke) and came out with 3 million a few weeks later.

Oh yeah? What was his bench press?

Checkmate.

I see Rand cultists as no different than scientologists.

I think it does say something about how a man chose to live his life when people care more about the death of a squirrel than his murder.
