I’d say it is, if you believe taxation is theft. If someone doesn’t believe that, I don’t see an argument for it. The only argument for capitalism and against communism, in that case, is the superior living standards resulting from capitalism.
It’s not. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t greedy(like I said, capitalism doesn’t require the ubermensch). You can deny human nature, or you can have a few people claim what’s produced by everyone else. There’s a reason capitalist societies produce higher living standards for most than do socialist/communist societies.
You left out the qualifier, and any economic system is amoral. Implementing one may involve immorality, however. Place A allows its people to keep their earnings; Place B threatens people with punishments if they don’t turn over some portion of their earnings…Place A would seem the morally superior society.
You don’t even believe that is a position held by anyone.
Plenty of people claim this but upon closer inspection, they cherry pick the things they like and ignore those things they don’t. It’s like the pro Christian, religious right Republicans who claimed her as an influence even though she hated religion, was an atheist and supported abortion rights.
