It definitely is way more realistic, brother. I don’t know why people have this idea that such a beach body look is unattainable. All you need is some foundational muscle mass, the will to lift 2-3 times a week, and the knowledge of what to eat. You don’t even need to eat perfectly all the time, you can have cheats like you said (cheeseburger/Snickers). I think I could hang in the 170s at 8-10% for my whole life if I didn’t want to add muscle.
But IMO there is a sense of presence that comes with being bigger. People respect you more, you come off as more of an alpha. I don’t want to be a mass monster by any means but lean and 200 sounds amazing and maybe like something I could reach without sacrificing health if I maintain a long-term focus. I look at is as bodybuilding now so I don’t have to when I have kids. I know I won’t have the same time or desire to sculpt my physique at that point of life, but I do want to carry a certain level of muscle mass, so I’m trying to get as much as I can now (without going nuts with anabolics).
I totally hear you on time flying – feels like I was just in high school! Can’t believe my 10-year anniversary already passed. I’m around college students and tell them the same thing all the time. Time is a crazy construct. I’ll be 41 soon
I’ve noticed an uptick in libido, though not sure if that’s from the Cytomel or increased T dose kicking in. Could be a combination of both. Still haven’t regained the ‘sense of self’ confidence I once felt with the T – where you just feel like the absolute man all the time – but the libido picking back up is nice! Not sure if scaling up from 25 mcg/day Cytomel is a good idea or even feasible but early returns have been promising.
If after 2-3 weeks you dont feel the benefits of cytomel i would raise it. Especially if you dont feel the effects of too much t3. This means your dose isnt there. obviously do labs and see where ft3 and rt3 are at. you really want to take armour thyroid. it converts to more than just ft3. better well being and energy for the day. i would definitely up the dose as soon as possible. yes thyroid can help libido for sure. it does allot in the body and can even heal stomach issues like gerd and etc.
What works for me doesn’t work for you. I’m actually on a fairly strong dose. There are reasons for it. Mainly other pharmaceuticals I’m on that have destroyed my bodies hormone production and other things like suppressing estrogens and so forth. I bet when i get Off them it will be a dose change and won’t need as much. Maybe
YOu just cannot sleep. Very easy to understand. Also extremely hungry. You wanna eat everything eatable that falls within your visual. I get it from even 12mcg T3
