Just Saw Iron Man

You can call me a sheep too because I thought the movie was great!

Iron Man kicks the asses of both Batman and Spiderman.

I thought it was excellent! It’s now probably my favorite super hero movie at this point.

I think Batman Begins is a better overall movie, but Iron Man is more entertaining, which in the end, is all I ask for.

The Dark Knight will pwn all.

I fell asleep during Batman Begins.

I’ll clue YOU in on something, sparky - a satirical reference to the plot is one thing, and a commentary on its message is another.

It’s apparent locker-room humour doesn’t go over well, here. I don’t actually think people who enjoyed the movie are sheep. I did say, after all, that I enjoyed it.

Fuck, loosen up.

sickest storyline

Dude, no one is running you out of town…but you did claim that those loyal to a very old story that was the original from which many others copied were sheep.

On a site like this, you expected no confronatation at all?

I am also sure there are people out there (many others) who barely knew who Ironman was before that movie came out…the same with Transformers. Either way, both were great movies whether you knew that or not.

No - the point of the post was to generate confrontation, it was trollish in a joking kinda way.

Comments like the one from elliot007 up there are just more annoying than anything else pre-coffee.

Incidentally, I am among those who didn’t even realize Ironman was a comic.

Movie was good. The bad guy (“The Dude” from The Big Lebowski) stole the show IMO. Downey Jr. was alright and his assistant was bland. Movie needs less PG13 rating and more tits (seriously, the sex scene. wtf?).

Leaving the movie, the thing my friends and I agreed on was that The Dude needs to be in more stuff.

Don’t be daft. At the very least everyone knew about Transformers.

G1 FTW.

Hey, this guy didn’t know Ironman was a comic book. Therefore, someone out there is unaware of who Superman is.

Anything is possible…apparently.

is it better than X2? that to me was the best comic book movie.

looks like I’ll be seeing it tonight though regardless

I find it hard to fairly compare Iron Man to X2; while the former mainly focuses on one character, the latter tries to handle multiple characters. I enjoyed both movies, but if I had to vote, I’d go with Iron Man (besides, I’ve been very disappointed by X3 and hope they’ll make a decent Wolverine spin-off).

I think it was better than X2, but that’s just my opinion.

It’s funny cause Jon Favreau made a comment that superhero movies tend to peak with the second film and that they might just call the Avengers film the third in the Iron Man trilogy, rather than make a third, stand alone Iron Man movie.

I was also really disappointed with X3 and hope they don’t blow the Wolverine spin-off. The one thing I’m already not wild about is Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth. I like him as an actor, but as Sabertooth? Come on! (I do like the casting of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool though.)

WOW awesome movie.

as for it X2 and Iron Man, that’s a tough call, I’d still have to go with X2, but Iron Man was great.

love the soundtrack too

anyone know the name of the song that plays when he’s getting suited up with the final version of the iron man suit?

If I remember right it was the theme from the Iron Man cartoon. I’ll look into it.

I know that when Tony calls Rhodey, Toney’s ringtone was the old '66 Iron Man theme.
Tony Stark makes you feel he’s a cool exec with a heart of steel
As Iron Man all jets ablaze
He fights and fights with repolsar rays
Amazing hero
It’s Iron Man

I am king fucking nerd I pwn you all in that category
