Anyone else in the area? Looking for someone to workout with and a good gym to join in Center City near suburban station.

Just tape a twenty to your forehead in Philly. You’ll get plenty of cardio.

I’d still go. Even if it’s a 1 hour trip each way.

Holy damn that’s awesome, but I would kill myself trying to get over there everyday. It’s bad enough commuting every day from King of Prussia, but damn, that would be sick.

True that!

The SchuylKILL Expressway sucks.

To drive the Expressway into Center City, or are you referring to a drive to Iron Sport?

OP

If you live in K of P, why don’t you seek out a gym there instead of in Philly?

Hey, I grew up in Pottstown, lived in Philly for 5 years during and after college, then moved to Joizy. I still love PA!

I was born and raised in Delaware County. In fact, right now i’m living a short walk to the house I grew up in.

Did you like living in Philly for those 5 years, ID?

I had an ex that lived like 30 ft from the Italian market. I wasn’t a fan… plus, I got a shit ton of tickets while I was seeing her.

I did like living there. Of course I didn’t have a car, so that made things easier.
Philly was great because everything I needed was really close by. I lived in Center City most of the time, but did live in West Philly for 10 months (ghetto), as well as “Brewerytown” (Art Museum area). I usually avoided South Philly because I never felt safe there back in the 80s. The Guido dudes usually walked around in numbers, and they hated punk rock types (like myself) skateboarding through their neighborhoods. lol

I only work in KoP, I live in center city. I want to join a gym that has a location close to work and to home. LA fitness or sweat will have to do it seems.

Hey ID what school did you go to in Philly?

I grew up in Pottstown, but I went to art school in Philly. Art Institute of Philadelphia. Graduated in '83.

Yeah, I’m an old fuck.

LOL That’s cool man. You by any chance know any good places to eat around Philly that are around 15 a meal? I usually eat out at norhern libs, but i get sick of it sometimes. Some places that a vegetarian friendly would be nice too (gf is a vegetarian for religious reasons, not cause she’s some hipster)
