Tried to fix the box problem in your original post.

You waited for the POPE’s permission BEFORE you felt the need to “stir up the pot”?
Why didn’t you feel compelled to ‘‘stir up the pot’’ the way the BIBLE commanded you
to do it instead of waiting for permission from the fucking Pope?

If you need to ask HOW the Bible instructs you how to ‘stir the pot’…that’s proof
right there Catholics don’t read their Bibles…I play ignorant and ‘quiz’ Catholics out there all the time
in society about what’s in the Bible and where in scripture can it be found, and they just give me a “deer in the headlights”
look and are always unable to answer every single time.
Why is that?

And you play it to the hilt. It seems so natural.

Karado, that is because the bulk of Catholics are religious in their efforts, ie they do the same act over and over again because its what they were taught they are supposed to do - like go to Church on Sunday or at least on major holidays if nothing else (Christmas and Easter).

The Scripture covered in mass is only a portion of the entire Bible and is repeated year to year with maybe some small changes when the Church buys new books every ‘x’ years based on funding. I know this because I sifted through a book once and saw everything pre-built. So if you raise a question that pertains to Scripture that was covered, they may be able to answer, assuming they were paying attention (I can only imagine the damage smartphones have done to the attentiveness of mass as it wasn’t the best before they were released).

Just like every other religion, you’ll have varying degrees of knowledge among the participants - in fact that goes as everything. Not every Christian spends all of their time reading and studying, and I’m sure many haven’t read the entire Bible, let alone trying to memorize it, its not exactly a short story. Then, asking them to try and interpret a book with hundreds of versions and which is clearly debated among “scholars” is like shaking that little black ball and expecting to always get “yes” as an answer. It is what it is.

Shouldn’t be surprising, this is people in general. Varies by individual.

THANKS!
