Just Bought Out the Biotest Store

Wow T-Nation is the shit!

You guys rock!

Thanx for all your advice, I’m gonna read through it all again.

What does AAS stand for?

I just got the rest of the supplements in yesterday after work. And yeah I decided not to open the TRIBEX Tribulus yet.

The flame out would you reccomend taking it in 1 shot or breakining it into to servings… I took the 4 caps this morn after breakfast, I was drinking I think the brand was carlsons liquid fish oil. should I start back up on that or will the flame out be sufficent and I will be overdoing it in that catagory.

Again thanx for the info.

KD, I split my Flameout dose into half after my breakfast shake and the other half after dinner. Although taking them all at once should be fine. Just don’t take them on an empty stomach.

AAS stands for illegal test boosting compounds the DEA wants to bust Bonds for.

FYI shizen, he’s 22. So, not so much with the AAS. A little on the young side, though I don’t have any inherent ethical issues with mid twenties people taking the vitamin T. Granted, he’s probably out of the danger zone as far as endocrine development, so it’s not too bad from a strict health standpoint I guess.[/quote]

Oh think you just misunderstood was just saying that supplements aren’t magic and just went on tangent on AAS not advocating taking them. I don’t advocate DRUGS to anyone really, though I don’t see a harm in smart use of it for people 25+ with good amount of years behind them.

It’s kind of nice having a slow metabolism. 1800 cals is bulking for me.

I’m 5’8, 193 and don’t ever count calories. Ahh, to have the metabolism of an FFB! I only know that I get around 1800-2000 because I logged my diet for a few days to see an average. I hardly deviate and follow “instinctive eating” which is obviously working since I used to be 220 lbs at like 300% body fat and am now 193 at 14%.

Point being: I don’t worry about calories (only the quality of them) and throw in hordes of supplements and it helps tremendously.

o allright, yeah thats the reason I never used ne thing until now. Its already been over 2 years of hard work staying 100% natural with the exception of protien powder. I make sure I get good food, and hard consistant workouts, and so far that has helped me out pretty good (went from 130 pounds with close to zero % muscle mass to 165 at 8% bf within 6 months, and I’m currently 14-15% bf), but like anything its not enfough!

Right now I’m just trying everything out, I’m not trying to make a habit out of living off these supps and turning it into a life style. I just have been watching my money for the past year and putting everything I could afford aside for anything that will help me get back to where I was. The only things I will most liklky implement on a perinant or at least semi-perminant basis would be fish oil/flame out, protien, and even creatine after all the reserch I have been reading that pertains to brain function and creatine.

Did I miss your goals somewhere? I think some people will agree with me that you don’t need every supplement that Biotest sells. Get the whey, creatine, BCAA’s if you want. But I don’t think you need to take everything with the numbers you are posting.

You have a lot of room for growth which will take time. Supplements are an enhancement, not a starting point. Good luck.

hmm logging in was VERY long just then.

Just wana say big up and keep up the good work man. I am also 22 and weigh a little more than you, (bout 5 kgs) and was also in a veryyyyyy serious accident a few years back - My body was damaged but not my brain, so we’re kinda the opposite really.

Anyways - I know it’s hard so just saying well done and keep up the work! It’ s worth it in the end, I know you’ve come a long long long way but I had the viewpoint that if you do it now it makes the rest of your days so much easier/better. so keep going always.

Cheers

If you are testing out supplements, simply add one in at a time, and see the effects over time before adding in another. If you are not benefiting more then without it, it may not be worth it. Right now if you see results, you will not know which supplement of supplements were of benefit to you.

Fish oil, (Flameout,) and Rez-V are the supplements I try to include no matter what.

Pay attention to what Aragorn and Rockscar told you and eat, eat, eat. All the supps you mentioned are great stuff and I use 'em myself but most likely you will notice very, very little out of them if you’re not eating properly.

The diet plan and the amounts you mentioned will not put weight on you.

Ditto. You can take all the supplements in the world, but if you eat like a bird, expect to have legs like one. Think of it like this, you have a car that you want to make faster. You buy a supercharger, new exhaust system, etc. Problem is, you don’t have any gas to put in it. Supplements are the performance parts. Once you have a good foundation, you can add the bells and whistles to improve performance, not before.

This post should be a sticky or whatever, there is a lot of good advice in this thread.
