  • Protein 213g / 222g
  • Carbs 352g / 434g
  • Fats 168g / 100g
  • Fiber 32.5g / 27.5g
  • Energy 3875kcal / 3600kcal

Again, this time fats are strongly exceeded, otherwise it’s not so bad. I’ll start watching my macros during the day, so that I can “catch” the problems earlier, than in the evening, when listing everything at once. On the other hand, I’m glad to be able to eat the caloric surplus with no problems so far.

Is there a particular issue with exceeding fats? So long as you drop carbs to compensate, it should be ok. They’re both just energy sources.

Well, as you probably remember, I’m not really lean now. So, I assumed, that I should keep fats as low as possible to be able to bulk systematically without becoming seriously overweight.

If fats and carbs and basically interchangeable, it’d make it easier

And thank you for the reaction!

It’s a surplus of energy that results in bodyfat gain. That energy can come from carbs or it can come from fats. The body can only store about 2000 calories worth of carbs, whereas it can store near limitless amounts of fats, but overeating of either is how one puts on fat.

Overall good, nothing too serious so far. Didn’t get to gym yet, as my membership ran out and there was no receptionist yet. Hopefully I’ll catch them tomorrow or on Thursday at worst. So far I’m trying to do some push ups.

Well, eating outside, which completely destroyed my plan first, so I just looked for the full energy as @T3hPwnisher advised and cut out carbs for the rest of the day.

Nailed it dude. Unless you’re specifically trying to get into Ketosis, macro ratios really aren’t a big deal.

OK, bodyweight is growing, albeit modestly… I wanted to start some real training asap, but I did something with my back 2 days ago, so I’m mostly relaxing and waiting, until it stops hurting. I really hope, that I’m OK by the end of the week.
