Ouch.
Time for you to start running laps.

I still haven’t seen either episode yet. I will check them out on Hulu tonight.
My brother, also a huge fan, said he thought they were pretty good. He could just be delusional.

Vic, it does, it makes it easier when you coach football at her high school though, one time I made a kid start running laps, and he could stop when i had decided I was no longer angry at him for what he had said about my little sister.
It was a matter or respect.

I have a younger sister as well. I can’t tell you how many fights or almost-fights I’ve gotten into because someone said something or did something to my sister that I didn’t like.
Most of these fights were when I was younger though. You know, typical playground bullshit.
Okay,
I just watched the pilot.
Coed showers rock!
But I liked it.
The BTVS or Angel pilot weren’t much better.
I think we need to be focusing on whats important here…they should start making firefly again!! Start off right where they left of in the series. Mel kicks Jubal Early off into space and then an epic series unfolds leading up to the conditions of the serenity motion picture. Speaking of serenity, I liked it alot but I was pissed that they never reveal what shepherd books secret military life was all about. Bring back firefly!!!

Thanks for the link. That was an interesting take on it.
I still think some of the issue is that WB can be pretty clueless though.

Joss has a huge boner for Ms. Dushku, lately.

And that is different that most of the guys who watch his stuff?
I think that Dushku as WW was just a rumor. I don’t think she would fit the part at all.

She’s pretty, but I wouldn’t think to start pimping the shit out of her with all of my projects. She’s not that good.

No, she really wouldn’t. Then again, just about every name I’ve seen rumored for WW wouldn’t be a good fit. If they ever do make the movie, they’ll have to go with an unknown.

I think they would need a bigger woman like Lucy Lawless to fit the role.
Problem with Joss is that he likes the tiny chicks too much.

Agreed. Do you know if they intend for the movie to be campy or serious? I can’t imagine it being serious, what with her invisible jet and lasso of truth…

Lucy’s turned it down in the past. She said she would have been more interested if they portrayed WW as a flawed hero.
The Megan Gale rumor for her playing WW in the JLA movie was interesting. She’s like 6’ and kind of exotic looking, but she’d really need to hit the weights to pull off the role. JLA has been shelved though, so I’m not sure we’ll ever see that happen anyway.

I think it’s intended to be a serious movie, but I remember talking about this in another thread and I think the consensus was that it would have to be (or would be better if it was) campy. If they are going to use the classic costume and stuff like the invisible jet and lasso of truth, then I don’t think audiences would be able to take it seriously otherwise.

I think it probably came from working for Roseanne back in the day.
Thats more then enough to keep me away from larger women.
