Jordan 2, ISIS/L 1

I see … Straw people.

A few pages back you said the NATO bombing was successful since it stopped a long and drawn out civil war. Now you’re saying Libya was on the verge of collapse and ready to fall at any time.
Am I saying that, or am I saying that he was not “crushing” the rebellion, which was in full swing by the time of our involvement, and therefore that I think the said involvement avoided a Syria-like protraction of intense civil war? Follow along.
You completely ignored the part about Gadaffi giving up his nuclear program, arresting and taking on terrorists like al-qaeda, which Sexmachine and I both talked about.
Except I didn’t ignore that. I said that he lost his utility once he began losing what in a U.S. analogy would be Chicago and L.A. (along with an entire territorial region and most of a coast) in an open rebellion. You don’t get to make shit up about what I have and haven’t argued. That you are unable or unwilling to follow along is not reason enough for me to hold your hand through this.

I really am wondering when you will say something that doesn’t require basic correction.

Hilarious coming from you.

And secondly, he’s taking a swipe at the moron’s this administration sends out to talk to the press.

There is a large portion from the left that would be VERY much in favor of this plan.

Do you not watch the news?

Marie Harf isn’t incorrect. In 2008, then chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen Stated "We can’t kill our way to victory, and no armed force anywhere – no matter how good – can deliver these keys alone. Her’s is not a controversial position within the intelligence and national security communities. Also, Harf was a CIA analyst before she became a spokesperson for that agency and then the State Department. Ad hominem attacks from those whose areas of expertise are far removed from foreign affairs in general and counter terrorism in particular do not an argument make.

The conspiracy level is stankin up this thread. It is like someone took Glenn Beck, Hannity, Jesse Ventura and Alex Jones, combined them like a master dog breeder and created a new Hybrid, foaming at the mouth hound ready to guard against imagined communist and anti gun state overlords everywhere.

Complains about fallacy, commits one in the very next post.

God you suck at this.

EDIT: Also waiting for your evidence refuting the UN study, or do you concede you haven’t a fucking clue what you’re talking about?

Great. You’d think with that resume she wouldn’t have had her foot so far in her mouth trying to explain things.

Inability to clearly see a joke poking fun at someone who wasn’t very articulate in the national media, does a tight ass make.

EDIT: I’ve seen a drunk dude explain it about 3000 times better on facebook in under 4 mins.

Interesting development.

Being unable to detect a joke above and claiming it as a fallacy and then complaining other posters don’t detect other jokes. You stay classy there Fella!

It’s on the upper left on the map above.

And I believe the expression is “Murica, fuck YEAH!”

I guess the same argument could have made concerning the Nazis. “Hey, we can’t kill them all. You can’t kill
Fascism. Let’s compromise and just give em a job. Make that a union job with a pension.”

Harf is an embarrassment. Who cares if she is a pencil-pushing “analyst”? BFD. She worked on Obummer’s campaign, that’s why she is a apologist for this administration. NOT because she is a brilliant strategist.

Please.

If you did not ignore this, it’s significance was lost because you missed the whole point. If not, your logic is flawed.

But at least less people are dying in Libya now than during the civil war in 2011. At least the civil war’s not dragged on like the one in Syria.

That’s the only points you seem to continue make.

Both of you came into this with a risible and obvious unpreparedness. You stepped into the big leagues with a minor-league eye, and you got burned by fastballs down the middle.

Does not address a single point I made about the different countries involved in Obama’s flawed foreign policy disaster.

Claims to be a big league player in PWI.
