I take offense at your insult. I prefer and identify as clown dick. Please take note, good sir.
Weren’t you dealing with a migrant crisis some time back?
That depends entirely on what papers you read or what your view of immigration is.
In general though, we’re pretty well protected from actual immigration crises by this big bit of water we had the good sense to build.
Thanks for taking the time to share that man! My knee actually feels better now since I haven’t been to the gym in over a week due to illness.
Also noticed this. I think I just need to focus on the cues and just be in the moment. Sometimes I drift off and focus too much on counting the reps.
Will definitely do this along with @whang 's comments about finding the optimal stance and toe angle. I should probably start with light weights and work my way up.
My hamstrings are extremely tight (I can’t touch the ground bending over with knees straight). I’m not sure if this contributed, but I’m currently working on my mobility.
Actually, to be honest, I’m a bit ignorant (?) about news and what’s happening with the world. Too much to study each day that I’d rather spend my remaining hours doing mindless things like play computer games. I really should revisit BBC and NYTimes from time to time again.
I’m making an active decision to avoid news outlets these days. My time will be better spent working in my sphere of influence than building my I’ll informed opinion on things outside of it. Hasn’t stopped me having plenty of I’ll informed opinions yet, but I live in hope.
I stopped watching the news years ago and never looked back. It’s depressing most of the times anyway.
What games? I’ve been known to pass some time while gaming.
How do you guys find time for this stuff. More than a little jealous.
@dagill2 actually I don’t really have time right now. Can’t remember how young your kids are, but this could work

@littlesleeper Currently playing The Witcher 1 for the first time (yes, that’s how bad my backlog is)
@johnimperial sorry to clutter your log a bit
No problem man. I might do this when my little one is old enough to “play” games.
Part of the daily schedule! My son goes to bed around 7:30pm which means usually 7:30-10pm is my “free time”. This window sometimes includes making/eating dinner, doing dishes, prepping lunch for the following day, tidying up, etc. More often than not though I end up with a free hour to relax before bed.
My wife watches anything/everything on Netflix/Crave and I am not as easily entertained by TV shows as she is, so I typically kill my hour playing video games while she watches her show(s).
It’s a pretty good set up man.
Mine are (fairly) reliably in bed by 9, so I get a bit of time after that. I’m a bit of a big girly girl though, so I typically use that to have a decent soak in the tub and chill.
I do this. 4 year old plays Mariokart with me on the Wii, the 3 year old gets an unplugged controller and pretends he’s one of the other guys on the screen the whole time. Good times by all.
Wow that’s an early bedtime. How long does your son sleep at night?
Deadlifts 205x5 235x5 275x5
Deadlift 5x5 at 205 ss reverse grip pushups 5x15
Leg press 5x10
Crunches
Ditched the belt for this workout. Might have thrown my bracing a bit off. Last rep of the 3rd set was a bit slow, not a grinder though.
My wife told me that I shouldn’t tell other parents how long he sleeps at night because they will all hate us, lol.
His typical (good) night (which was not last night…) he goes to bed at 7:30pm and doesn’t start squawking until around 6:30am!
We have had quite a few friends and family members who suggested following a “Babywise” schedule (it is just a series of books with loose suggestions for schedule and following an “eat-wake-sleep” cycle). We swear by it. We have other friends who do not have any sort of schedule with their young one, and they struggle with naps, eating times, etc.
I’m the last person to try and tell someone how to parent their children, so please do not take it as that. I am just putting out there what we did and how effective we have found it to be! (n=1 for us though, so take it as you will!)
I will second that Sleeper said about routine making it easier. However I will also say that it is very dependent on the child. Our first child was amazing, our second child who suffered from some digestion issues and allergies was not as easy. 1-2 hours of screaming from midnight to 2 am every night for 12 months !! Then our third child (son) was just as easy as the first one.
Man, I hate you lol. That’s amazing. We try to schedule naps and such, but most of the time our little one sleeps only when she wants to. It’s not so bad though, she sleeps at around 8:30 to 9pm, wakes at around 2 or 3 am to feed, then sleeps until 7 or so.
X3 here. We’ve had routine since day 1 and its been a lifesaver.
@littlesleeper I now quietly hate you.
