I always thought that if anyone but a black person was racist on stage, that they would be jailed and put on death row, but then this mencia guy comes out, and totaly made me stop paying for cable.
Seriously, the guy needs to get off Chapelle’s, who’s racism I can laugh at, and Rogan’s, who’s not funny at all, nut sack.

Man I saw Carlos down in Boston a couple of months ago and I thought his show was awesome.
Seeing that he steal jokes now is a real let down. I give props to Joe for calling him out.
If you go on Joe’s site and watch his google vid. Watch the very end. Its painful to watch Carlos get owned by the other comedians. For a second I actually feel bad for him. Then I think what a fucking a-hole.
An interesting topic though is why is he so popular. Is it because he is a minority telling racial jokes, so that is ok to put on t.v. But when the white guy Ari does them the networks don’t want to show them.

Wow. I’ll definitely be avoiding Mind of Mencia from now on. As others have said, it’s pretty tasteless to say that a Jewish comedian can’t think of any humor about immigration.
There’s a huge difference between being influenced and plagiarism, too. I teach, and I’ve given students an F for having one sentence in their paper that they plagiarized, which is the standard ruling in our department. And in my profession, if an academic is shown to have “borrowed” anything, it’s the end of their career. It isn’t jealous, it’s professionalism.
Forgot something: Good for Rogan to confront him on it. I’m sorry to hear on the tape how most comics aren’t willing to confront someone who plagiarizes like that.
