Jim, Your Thoughts on 3/5/1 First Cycle, 5/3/1 Second Cycle?

During the leader cycle, would there be any problem doing 3/5/1 in the first cycle and 5/3/1 in the second?

Meaning basically its heavy, light, heavy, light, heavier, heavy

This might be one of the best questions I’ve been asked in the past year or so.

It would be:

Medium
Light
Heavy
Light
Medium
Heavy

There is probably a lot of cool things you could do with this but I don’t really think (actually I know) that it won’t make any difference for majority of people. This, however, could be used for an advanced lifter and probably manipulate the volume/intensity. Personally, I have no desire to mess with this; everyone I’ve work with is a beginner, including myself at this point. But if you love this shit, have at it. It’s incredibly interesting.
