James Woods is an Idiot

For the record, they’ve GOT to stop casting Tom fucking Cruise in tough-guy/action roles.

For the love of Christ.

“Name one young actor who is the epitome of a T-Man? Quickly, the clock is ticking. cue the Jeopardy music

This is what I responded to when I mentioned Statham and Bale. This person didnt say name an AMERICAN!

Don’t you guys get it???

 1. Having a gun makes you tough in America

 2. Girls don’t like tough guys anymore, they like you to shop and talk hair products instead.

 3. “All you need is ripped abs” Beetles.

 4. Tough big guys are gross with their ugly muscles.

 5. Tough guys are just jerks anyway.

 6. Finally just give me some heroine shiek Johnny depp characters and I’ll cream at the box office.

Good list.

Somehow I forgot one of idols, the legendary Bruce Willis (from the streets of Jersey, he is).

And let’s not forget about his amazing role in Starship Troopers. He was the one who captured the brain bug for gosh sakes.

I’m sorry that I know that. hangs head in shame

He lost weight. From what I hear, he is down to 260lbs or less. Mind you, he was up around 320-330lbs for daredevil.

Woods’ statement comes across as a broad insult, but then he goes on to say “they cast” which would narrow it down to American male actors being pathetic. And for the most part, that seems to be true.

Woods himself, by all accounts, is quite the prick and strikes me as a skinny, big mouthed punk, with a reputation similar to Bill Mahr for chasing the ladies and partying. But he says what he wants to say, which is good. Lack of fear in thought and deed is T-man territory. But then, so is backing it up and he seems like the type that’d shy away from a conflict. I could be wrong though.

All I can say for sure is that YES, there are many American male pussies, but not all of us. Also, damn Woods was a freak in Videodrome! haha

That alone could have turned War of the Worlds around.

You are right. He did not say an AMERICAN but it was in context to the Woods comment, which I think would imply AMERICAN!

But I do think Bale & Statham are pretty bad ass (if you don’t count Crank against Statham)
dre wrote:
“Men in America are so pathetic now”

I really can’t see how anyone could take that statement as a compliment. I see what you are saying though. But calling someone pathetic is never a compliment.
Unless you say something like this, “You are really pathetic at being a girly man!” lol
Heh heh, true! But if an idiot points at you and says to his friend “look at him, he’s so smart” while laughing at you, wouldn’t you take that as a compliment?

FYI, for the record, regarding Hugh Jackman, I believe it’s fairly widely known that he’s gay. (Insert cliche quote here).
I never heard that he was gay, but aren’t they all? In any case, being gay has nothing to do with not being masculine; you can be both.

No Mis, he’s calling us pussies.
So long as you’re clear on that… :-p

On a different note, somebody mentioned James Woods calling the kettle black. Have you seen John Carpenter’s Vampires? James Woods is the man in that film.

Loved Nicholas Cage in Face Off
(as he grabs the flight attendant and rams her on his knees) “Now what would you do if I let you suck my tongue?” On the other hand you can argue that he also mad movies such as City of Angels - it can be argued that he’s got the talent to swing both ways.

Read today’s Strong Words.

And i’d have to agree with James Woods on this one. Name one young actor who is the epitome of a T-Man? Quickly, the clock is ticking. cue the Jeopardy music

Diesel
Bale
Whalberg
Tyrese
Statham

Damnit, you have to bring up freakin’ Vin Diesel didn’t you? I fuggin’ can’t stand that guy. I won’t accept him as a valid answer. Bale, yeah, he was sweet in Batman returns. Whalberg is a good call but the guy was Marky Mark…MARKY MARK! Tyrese, well, whatever, he’s Tyrese. Statham is English, not American.
LOL, Bale is Welsh. Nice job calling that one ; )

I am not talking about the troops here. I just don’t like shitting on Americans. Why would any of you Americans like it? Is it some sort of post-modern, depressed, “cool” bullshit?

Oh, and I still love you Simon Helecus.
Of course you don’t understand it, you’re a nationalist. There’s nothing rational about your thought pattern.

Nationalism is a reality, you wannabee intellectual.
