James Woods is an Idiot

Oh, and I still love you Simon Helecus.
Calling things the way you see them is always cool and should never go “out of style”.

Calling “bullshit” when you see, hear, or smell it is the right of every American. When it involves calling BS on the actions of our so-called leaders, it’s the ultimate form of patriotism, despite what some would have you believe.

I love everyone…except Ann Coulter. Someone needs to drive a stake through that bitch’s bitter, shriveled heart.

I know what you’re gonna say; “What about her freedom of speech? What about her right to express her opionions?” She doesn’t have opinions, all she has is pithy, yet evil shit that randomly spews out of her piehole. She doen’t inform; she only inflames.

Get the garlic and the holy water and meet me at the Dennis Miller show. We’ll kick his ass too while we’re there.

Men in America are so pathetic now. Have you noticed anytime they want that quintessential sort of brute, primal male, they cast an Australian? – Actor James Woods

It’s funny, but when I read this I thought back to the recent movie characters that I have found to be most primal, and I immediately thought of Maximus (Gladiator) and Wolverine (X-Men). Then I realised, the actors playing them are both Australian.

But here’s something for the guys that have their knickers in a twist to consider: James Woods said “quintessential sort of brute, primal male”; this could be considered an insult if by “brute” and “primal” you mean unevolved, illogical, irational, without feelings, selfish and oafish. So, he could actually be complimenting US men and insulting Aussies. Think about it.

Liking something and agreeing with something are two very different things.

Sucks to hear the truth sometimes.

Simon,

OK, your post CONTAINED a non-sequitur, if you prefer.

I disagree with everything you wrote. My conclusion is that Australians are actually just better looking than Americans, not more or less T-ish. This would explain the phenomenon of them getting so many acting careers in Hollywood.

Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford----if that’s the best we can muster…

enough said.

But you were right about Ann Coulter.

“Men in America are so pathetic now”

I really can’t see how anyone could take that statement as a compliment. I see what you are saying though. But calling someone pathetic is never a compliment.
Unless you say something like this, “You are really pathetic at being a girly man!” lol

I don’t consider the likes of Vin Diesel and The Rock to be actual “actors.”

I would say Russell Crowe (an Aussie) is THE first T-man type that comes to mind among Hollywood actors (though he may be a bit of a prick in real life, he’s clearly MALE and not metro). After thinking about it, Wahlberg is the only other one who really comes to mind. Yes, he was Marky Mark years ago. But now he seems like a pretty squared-away dude.

BTW, Woods is calling American men “pathetic.” That’s US (presumeably!) All I’m saying to James here, is “speak for yourself, you self-loathing idiot.”

FYI, for the record, regarding Hugh Jackman, I believe it’s fairly widely known that he’s gay. (Insert cliche quote here).

Of course you don’t understand it, you’re a nationalist. There’s nothing rational about your thought pattern.

Read today’s Strong Words.

And i’d have to agree with James Woods on this one. Name one young actor who is the epitome of a T-Man? Quickly, the clock is ticking. cue the Jeopardy music

Diesel
Bale
Whalberg
Tyrese
Statham
Funny, Both Bale and Statham are English.
doogie wrote:

Tyrese is the only one that might count.
Hell, even the Oak had Kindergarten cop, Jingle All the Way, and Junior. So what’s your point?

American Bad-asses?
The Rock
Vin
John Cena
Ryan Reynolds: give this guy a few more action movies, you’ll see.
Tom Jane (The Punisher)
Toby: He did play Spidey (I’m joking!!)

I cant say that i comepletely disagree with James, but if i remember right Heath Ledger was cast opposite of Jake Gyllenhal(SP?) in Brokeback Mountain. which takes the cake of pussy movies. And Ledger is a native of the land down under. That more than makes up for “tough guys” Australia has been putting out.

Yuuup.

Guys I see come into my job are just amazing, pathetic fags. Might have to do with me working in an area with too much money, but the song remains the same.

You know I liked Harrison Ford as Solo and Indiana. It wasn’t until his later roles especially the Tom Clancy movies that I really started to dislike him. He always has that pseudo ernest like he’s about to cry look on his face.

Miserere, I don’t take those descriptions to be insulting. Was Maximus those things you described. I take brute and primal to mean kicking ass with confidence.

Yes, i’m an American man but i’m not who he is refering too. I don’t take any offense to what he says either.

He’s speaking of Hollywood and film casting. He has not called you out. Though at this point, you may as well start taking acting classes.

There is no possible definition of pathetic that is complimentary.
