Ha! I’ll take that as a compliment.

Sadly, I don’t know what’s on the horizon for me competition wise. I am trying to finish my dissertation to graduate this semester and so I am not really planning anything. Maybe a meet in April. Other than that I have no idea. Also, I may be relocating with my family if I get one of the jobs I applied for, so everything is kind of up in the air at this point.

Really liking the feel of the homemade grenade ball. It seems to not only hit the wrist extensors, but also the triceps and biceps in a unique way.

February 13th

My grip felt funny with my left hand… Don’t know what to make of that. Also I need some upperback work, mobility and strength.

The fabric of the new suit ripped. Apparently the stuff is stiff enough, but not strong enough with only two layers, so I’ve got some sewing to do.
The good news was that it fit well and felt good even after it ripped!

Yeah, I’m fine. I just took a T-Nation hiatus for various reasons. Lifts are all up and I have been training. I’ll update soon.

Update: Hit a pretty easy 535 squat not long ago. Hit a 300x2 bench (I think it has gone up since then too). I don’t know about deadlift progress. I’ve done some good rep work, but no PR singles. Repaired the squat suit and test drove it today for some dynamic stuff.

April 14th

April 18th
Hit a 315 bench!

April 23rd
Had some fun in the newly remade squat suit.
Hit 645 straps down. Then took 700 straps up and my butt exploded out the back of the suit. Thanks to good spotters, safety chains, and a box I am no worse for wear.
