I looked into GH and slin, but it’s jisf super expensive. If I were to do 5 iu. It would cost me 300-500 a month and they recommend running it for 6 months. So somewhere between 2 and 3k for the cycle. I got everything I need for like $600. I’m being careful with support and getting lots of water along with healthy lifestyle as well. I’d love to try it eventually.
I’ve been looking for any info regarding what your igf1 levels would look like on various levels of GH but haven’t had any success. My sermorelin boosts my igf1 so I wonder how much more effective GH would be. For now I’ll just keep reading on it.
I’m also considering opting out of the anavar at the end of the cycle. I’m going to continue bulking afterwards and this might be counter productive
Ah now you are talking peptides and I do have some experience in them. I take Sermorelin and Ipamorelin together to boost my IGF-1. At 1000mcg and 500mcg respectively I took my IGF-1 from 99 to 140 in 3 month that was 7 months ago I have not retested and need to. My target is 200 do to my age. I would think you would want an IGF-1 of 300.
I can’t afford GH either and I sure don’t like that syn GH shuts your natural production down and I have no idea how hard it is to get going again. I’ve never read abot a PCT for natural GH. Do we just wait hope and pray?
I really do like the idea of boosting the IGF-1 and that increases your own natural production.
I believe @studhammer has some experience with GH I don’t know about insulin. I believe it was him and physiolojik that were talking and that was where I learned about the switch because it is so much healther and safer if done right.
Thanks man. I’ve talked with both of them about it and thus came to the conclusion that I was going to stick with sermorelin and ghrp2. My last labs had my igf1 at 316 so it’s doing it’s job pretty well.
I also have a buddy who took exogenous GH for way too long and his pituitary is shut down hard. He’s trying to get it going WiFi Sermorelin ghrp2 and ghrp6 but nothing so far.
Sure don’t want to be dependent on something if I can help it. My test was already in the toilet when I started TRT so I can live with that… and it only costs me about $15 a month.
So I greatly overestimate the amount of AAS that my body would be OK with. Spent the better part of Saturday with a HR between 100 and 120. Stopped taking Dbol and quickly returned to RHR between 65-75. My next shot was scheduled for Monday. I went ahead and only took the test dose… so 375mg.
I experienced this to a much smaller degree with my test/deca blast in the fall. My HR was elevated and averaged between 88-95. Sometimes I’d see 75 first thing in the morning but it was pumping pretty good the rest of the time. That was a total of 900mg AAS per week.
After thinking about it the jump I made this go around was way too big. 750 test 500 eq, and 50 dbol daily so let’s say 350 dbol. That’s 1600mg per week.
I’m gonna stick with 750 test only I think and save the eq and orals for another go round.
I’m actually kind of happy this happened because it made me look at this differently. My health as a whole is the most important thing and I need to be more cautious moving forward. I also need to not simply look at the quantities of each compound but the total amount I’m using. I feel pretty stupid to be honest.
Besides that scare the workouts have been rock solid. I’m sleeping like a baby and my appetite is really good. I think I basically did the equivalent of chugging 12 energy drinks and expected to feel fine. Well… lesson learned. Now it’s time to put the work in.
I’ve had this happen to me, but with a low dose of oxandrolone (not sure if it was oxandrolone, the results were fantastic)
HR was up in the 90s, uncomfortable shit. AAS stimulate CNS, upregulate beta adrenergic receptors thus make you more sensitive to effects of epinephrine (esp during workouts) and generally increase HR. Some of the effects level out over time, but it’s best to just not use doses that get you to the level where you have these issues anyway
I was thinking about this. I’m seeming to do fine at 750mg test. RHR is between 75-85. Strangely enough this is pretty normal for me. I’ve always had a fast heart rate. BP was 125/63 this morning so that’s in check too. I did a double red blood donation about a week ago as well… any chance this could have had something to do with the increased heart rate? Pretty sure it always the AAS but looking back it started shortly after doing the double red donation. Regardless I feel much better on the smaller dose.
Definitely have more staying power with the workouts and am able to crank out a few more reps than normal. Looking forward to see where the weight lands later in the year. I was 175.0 this morning. Hope your well man
how much cardio do you employ within you’re training routine? How about diet, if you have impaired glucose tolerance and/or delayed insulin spikes after meals (I have normal glucose tolerance, yet it has been demonstrated after the administration of pure glucose I have a massive spike in insulin production followed by delayed onset hypoglycaemia), these can elevate resting HR (postprandial tachycardia yeet).
So can stress, anxiety etc (elevated circulating catecholamines) etc
75 is totes normal, 85 is bordering on high, however everyone is different, some people will naturally have a RHR in the 90s, then there’s IST (inappropriate sinus tachycardia) in which for no apparent reason, an individuals RHR can be 100+.
I’m trying to gain size right now so not a ton of cardio. I do 3 30 minute sessions weekly. Nutrition is solid. 3500-4000 calories. Around 300 protein, 400, carbs, and 75 fat split over 5-6 meals. I don’t think I have any issues with blood sugar and insulin spikes. Pretty sure I was being dumb and stubborn and taking more than my body could handle comfortably. Blood pressure this morning was 127/72 and pulse was 76.
My weight the day of competition was 155, and this morning I’m 175.2. I’m sure I’m going to slow way down on weight gain now that my body is back where it’s comfortable. Just gonna keep feeding the machine and let this one ride out for the rest of the cycle. I can probably idolize the EQ later this year but in combination with test where the two compounds are around 750-800 mg total. Not sure what the most effective ratio would be though. I’ll need to do some reading on that. Thanks unreal
Update 4/13
Starting weight 161
Current weight 178.6
Gain 17.6 lbs.
I’m three and a half weeks into my blast and man the weights come on quick. I expected this to an extent simply because I was so lean at the start.
I’m feeling fantastic on just the 750mg test. Strength is increasing and my appetite is good. I’ve definitely gained some fat but not to the point where I’m feeling like it’s too much. I’m really hoping to make it to 185 and then try to hang out there for a bit and recomp.
It’s hard for me to accept the abs fading away as I gain size but I guess it’s a necessary evil. Gonna just keep plugging away and adjusting macros as needed to keep the scale moving in the right direction.
Thanks man! Putting on size has been a tough puzzle to crack for me. My body just wants to stick at certain weights. I’m pretty determined to try to reach a new “comfortable” weight though.
I’m in the same boat brother. It’s a battle to gain weight. I’m not at your level yet. I’m just now starting to look at total calorie intake and I’m not eating enough that’s obvious. I need to develop some new eating habits and educate myself more on nutrition.
And that’s exactly what they need to be… habits. Once you get in a groove it’s way easier. It’s when you fly by the seat of your pants that you get into trouble. I’m learning as I go. I’ve found that keeping track of photos and weight helps a lot. You think your not making any progress and then you look back a couple of years and realize, holy shit I was a twig!
That’s wild bro. Massive transformation. Habits. I just feel like if I can train myself to eat a big meal or any meal first thing in the morning I could make more progress and start to grow. It feels like a mountain to climb trying to eat at 4am in the morning.
Have you tried eating more often. It’s so much easier for me to get 6 - 600 calorie meals I’m rather than 3 1200 calorie meals. Drinking nutrition makes it way easier. 1 scoop of whey and 2 scoops of karbolyn pre and post workout gets 1000 calories in. 200 grams of carbs and 50,protein.
No kidding I’ll have to check that out. I’ve been using 2 scoops of “cluster bomb” intra workout which is 50 grams of carbs. After I try to immediately down some whey with peanut butter powder added.
