I've Resigned. Thank You, T Nation

Just giving you motley crew a heads up that I’ve recently tendered my resignation.

In the summer of 2005, I was just some personal trainer posting here on the forum when I got a message from the higher-ups that basically said, “Hey, you seem to know your stuff. Wanna work here?”

Over time, I’ve served in a variety of roles for T Nation/Biotest and have had the chance to see you guys grow (like, literally, a couple of you are nearly younger than my tenure here).

I’ve seen your PRs, your successes, your missteps, and your problems. But all in all, I’m glad to say I’ve seen the overwhelming majority of people simply dig down and kickass.

I don’t mind saying that some of you are really pretty great people. And, frankly, a few of you are really not-great people. But it takes all kinds and we make it work, so that’s fine.

Overall, it’s been a wild ride with the troll catching, spam squashing, thread titling, and category moving. With five years of T-ransformation challenges and 10 years of Photo/Video Check-Ins. With creating AMA forums, and countlessly asking “What, exactly, did you eat yesterday?” (credit to Dan John, as always) and post-history checking to spot inconsistencies.

Also, please do not think this is now an unmoderated forum. We’ve still got a great team doing the same work behind the scenes here, so keep behaving like you’ve always been. (Ack, now there’s a scary concept.)

Anyhow, I’m pretty conspicuous around the Interwebs if anyone wants to connect on social and say hey. I should be around here for a bit longer and not quite out the door yet, but regardless, you guys take care. See 'ya.

Hey man, good luck with everything life holds for you!

Chris, I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave. Wait, I might’ve used that wrong. Oh well. Good luck on them next step man!

Perfect!

All jokes aside, thanks for doing what you’ve done. I’ve been on here with various usernames and levels of activity for over a decade (joined Feb '12, initially and lurked before that), thanks for help making this a decent corner of the internet. Hope your future is bright!

Good luck with everything man. Your moderation has been one of the reasons i’ve stuck around, so if anyone else is reading, it’s Chris’ fault.

I swear I didn’t see your name on that sandwich in the employee fridge.

But in all seriousness, I’m going to miss ya. All the best, my friend!

I am going to miss you Chris! Thank you for being a great mod.

I feel kinda attacked here. Like a microagressionism or something.

Its been a great time with you around man. Lots of good times and you’ve done an awesome job fostering a sense of community. And you swing a wicked ban-hammer. :+1:

Thanks Chris.

Trust you’ll update your lifting log occasionally still, thanks for your efforts over the years in the background.

I’ve been an active member of probably over 30 forums. Every hobby Ive had a few forums For each. This spans over 12+ years.

You are hands down one of the best moderators I’ve ever encountered. Religiously consistent, well mannered and all around fair.

Thanks for all you did/do!

Best of luck with what comes next. Always appreciated your work on the Forums.

Thanks for all you’ve contributed here, and good luck with the next chapter.

Damn, the feels… Been lurking for almost 10 years here (had another account before) and T-nation’s been a major part of my lifting journey and life. It’s going to be weird without you.

I wish you the best

Thank you for your excellent work, Chris. You’ll be missed for sure

Ohhh, I’m sad to read this. I’ve loved the way you’ve handled both earnest questions and conflict over the years. Good natured and knowledgable, beautifully written, and laced with humor. You’ll be missed!

Damn.
