'It's The People's Seat'

Good video of the heckler…

Good thing for him it wasn’t at UF, or he’d have been Tasered.

We’re up in pretty much all the polls now - we’re totally energized. Now, just pray for a freakin’ blizzard.

Btw, lots of good info here for those who want to follow what’s going on here: http://redmassgroup.com/

And, on the side of caution, some wise words:
Memo to conservatives: Donâ??t read the rave reviews coming from the Bay State.

No doubt the needle has swung to the right in the Massachusetts senate race. Still, itâ??s only enough to make it a very tight election. But this is too big to fail if you live in the White House or anywhere along the liberal food chain, and the fear of losing is going to inflame the leftâ??s cadres. Theyâ??re going to use every dirt bag trick in the book â?? and make up some new ones in the days ahead. It may not be Ted Kennedyâ??s seat but it is Barney Frankâ??s state and David Axelrodâ??s world.

Donâ??t put the champagne on ice yet, friends. Donâ??t even buy it. If you want to win, take nothing for granted. Run scared too.
When will we officially know for sure who the winner is? The polls close tomorrow night?

2:25 - “Now more than ever, you don’t need just another politician who talks the talk.”

How ironic.

Never followed politics until these past 2 years and may I add I was a peace loving democrat, please forgive me. Now I am so damn far right wing. Been doing alot of reading and man was I really that stupid. Anywho I even gave money to Scott Brown and hopefully we can pull it out.
Where is Fighting Irish at? Is not he a full fledged demofag, who was boasting and praising the holy one in November? Where are you FI…are you crying from the butt spanking?
Cant wait till tommorrow night to watch the news. Even if we dont pull it out, we have scared the dems.

C.S. Lewis said that an atheist can’t be too careful in what he reads; IMO, same thing when it comes to liberals - a liberal can’t be too careful about what he or she reads. Funny how it usually goes that way and rarely the other way. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve given The Road to Serfdom to have felt as if they’ve been in a fog their whole life, and now it’s lifted. Truth.

My general experience is (and I’ve lived in Mass my whole life - and went to extremely liberal schools) that liberals don’t really read all that much; or think all that much. Yet they seem to feel intellectually superior. It’s bizarre.

@MaximusB - I don’t actually know when they’ll be able to call it - or when it will be certified. One thing I did hear today is that as soon as the election is called, the person sitting (temporarily) in the seat formerly held by Teddy “I killed a girl and got away with it” is not entitled to vote any longer - meaning that there aren’t 60 votes anymore. Not sure of the truth of that.

Cheers all!

yeah, does that man have ANY sense of irony? Most of his speech was like that.

Its over, Scott has this won. This is whats going to happen all over the country.

This is funny.

I too believe that Brown will win, and this is just the beginning of the Republican assault in this year’s Congressional Elections.

I have 3 or 4 different possible scenarios wrestling around in my head whoever wins and I have no idea who will. I do know if Brown takes that seat it will be a size 16 steel toed boot right in Obama’s nads. Anybody who denies that is either deluded or lying.

LOL - remember that scene was used for Obama too!! Cracks me up.

What a circus. What a hullabaloo over a bunch of nonsense. Much ado about nothing.

Regardless of whether the Republican or the Democrat wins, nothing significant is going to change.

Look, senators don’t do anything important. Governors don’t do anything important. Even Presidents rarely do anything important.

Massachusetts already had a Republican governor just a few years ago. So what? So nothing. Big Fucking Deal. He even would have been a much better presidential candidate than that senile old man, John McCain, but the GOP was too stupid to nominate him last election.

Everything in a capitalist democracy is controlled by wealthy business owners whose names the public has never heard.

If your net worth isn’t over 10 million USD, it’s not worth worrying over. You have no influence over anything in politics. Your single vote determines nothing and any energy you spend following this circus will be wasted.

Expect massive voter fraud in this election. Don’t be surprised if Teddy doesn’t vote for Coakley himself…twice.

Brown needs to win by 5+ pts. to seal the deal. They will delay his certification and swearing in by at least 3 months, my guess.

Sign of things to come for sure. Could reverse both houses if this thing gets moving. Obama “doubling down” after a loss will be a gift to the Republicans.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I think I’m just going to kill myself.

I agree that there is a fundamental contradiction in the American system – voting is incompatible with economic growth. Plunderers will always be tempted by any accumulated wealth, and will use altruism as a weapon to steal the wealth (Nietzsche).

Demagogues get elected by promising to equally distribute wealth, ignoring whose wealth it is. Greedy voters play along to get benefits.

Yep - no one over 30 here in Boston has any illusions about the lengths the Dem machine will go to to prevent a Brown win. Everyone is vigilant and charged up!!!

The larger the margin, the less it matters. We’re calling all day; helping those who can’t get to polls to get there. It’s snowing - but we’d crawl over broken glass to make this happen. Croaklies won’t. I hope!

LOL - way to go Marcia, debate with a freaking sports figure! She thought she might win by bashing Catholics and the Red Sox here in Mass. Great strategy! LOL!
