I’m with you on this on both counts.

The women were impressive.The brunette was a damn good looking lass to boot!

The theatrics of the main event almost ruined the whole event.

Overall it was a good show for me.

Yes, I thought the entire event came off as very cheesy and reflected somewhat poorly on the sport. It felt like professional wrestling, having Goldberg there and Mauro without Bas to keep him grounded didn’t hlep. The girls match was incredible, and by far fight of the night. The entire match with Krazy Horse and Noons was entertaining but I can tell it didn’t go over well with the boxing type fans Showtime is aiming at. The stunt at the end was simply bizzare, and apparently David Loiseau doesn’t even give a shit anymore.

Apparently they are offering Brandon Vera 7 plus figures. Dropping that much cash on unproven newb with a lot of hype, who will be considerably ring rusted by the time he gets out of his UFC contract doesn’t bode well. I see this going the way of the WFA, though they might get a few more fight cards in.
