It's Good to Have Goals

I just finished my first week of a new program so I will post those soon so I can keep up without so many back posts. It has been alot of fun and a big thank you to all my buddies and especially Big Fisch for putting up with me!

Here is a video of some lifting: Still working on form, I just had dental work and was a little run down here, but 85 Strict Press, 95/115 Clean/Press & 160/185/210 Deads… Hitched the last rep on deads and bounced a little but overall ok for not feeling 100%

I have some backposting to do but had to share my workout today I felt real good about it: 140 Bodyweight up a few pounds recently, clothes fit better or the same however so its all good, trying to drop to 132 eventually, hard to do lifting this heavy.

Enjoyed your video. Hard work you guys do.

Why do you want to drop weight? Aesthetics or ??

No collars on the DL bar?

Hi, Thank you! I would like to get to around 130-135 and hover around that weight. I hit 135 but then gained a few pounds (most likely a lot muscle with the heavy training) Aesthetics and considering a lifting competition at some point, though a long way off I would like to get accustom to larger lifts at a little bit lower weight and maintain that weight. I have always been a HIIT/circuit person and recently transitioned to more serious weight training about 6 months now and 13 weeks seriously progressing. Yeah I need to put some on the deadlift bar, was pressed for time that day  Funny you said that about my video because I just recently went through your information in more depth and watched some of your videos, good stuff! I was impressed.

I actually did my first (heavy) deadlift ever back in March hitting #225 on first attempt shoeless no belt knowing what I know now and how hard it is to make gains, I am proud of that!

I Have been quiet but have been training still in week 5… I will back post my work outs …but making progress busted out 20 reps at 77 pounds on bench press just a highlight and am up to 5 reps on my Deads at 230 pounds

I have not had much time to post between work and kids, but have to give a big thumbs up and a thank you to my training buddies and Rick for helping push me, Thank you is not enough, Rick knows how to train folks strong…Squatted 180 today for 5 rep Personal Record. I will back post my work outs soon but I am in Week 9 and doing well…

PR today #240 for 5 reps on Deadlift after 165/190/215@5 reps! test week next week for 1 rep max… BELT HELPS ALOT

Also got 95 up for 5 with very little bounce on OHP after 60/70/85 @ 5 reps Strict

Did Squats also 3@95 3@115 & 2 sets of 3 @135 to the 6 pin sat in the hole with explosion to the top

very happy lifting day!

Congrats on the PR. Makes what we do that much more tangible, and satisfying.

Thank you much! Yes it sure does, Small steps toward victory on Goals

You’re looking strong. I think it’s great you gained muscle weight and probably lost adipose percentage at the same time. Would you be opposed to being slightly heavier but more toned and stronger? Well whatever you’re making great progress.

Hi, Thank you! I am feeling strong, its pretty cool stuff! Still a ways to go I have more in me. That is such an inner struggle for any woman I think. I have not checked my BMI, but can tell I am generally leaner and feel good. I have not been dieting per say trying to eat well and enough protein particularly to have gains, so no, not totally opposed but pretty happy where I am at right now…I do know if I gained more muscle I could go heavier probably. I am currently between 141/142 daily…I had gotten down to 136 at one point during the first phase/shorlty before more heavy lifts of the routine but I feel confident it is alot muscle gains with this much heavy lifting. I certainly see the benefits to lifting now  Thanks again!

After 9 week program on 2 days rest: testing BW 140

Squat=205 1 rep max tried 215, got it up but it was high
Bench=120 1 rep max, tried 125, did not rest enough in between reps had trouble getitn git up, Bench is not my strong point.

I may try to test again next week if i have the time and feel more rested, thought I was rested enough but I think I have more in me particularly my squats.

Good work in here.

Even if you do feel more rested and strong, no rush testing your max. Were like the only 2 females left in here
you cant afford to get hurt!!!

Edit: in 0-35

Well, you are right :)…Meg and Jean are at the end of the routine this week, I am sure they will report back in shortly. Your right, we got to take our time and make sure to not get injured…it is easy to do at heavy weights

Maxed on Deadlift @ #265, no hitch clean pull. This was a 10 pound gain over last max attempt, On little to no rest so I may rest up for a week and try again next Wednesday, but overall happy with that. PR for me!!!

Its a New Year and I have not been posting much. I hit my goal weight of 135 and have kept it that way for 21 days now, even with the holiday munchies. I took some deload time the last two weeks only working out twice but I will be back at it hard this month, not because its a New Year, its because it is what I do all year long.

Good luck with your lifts this year folks! Imma hit #300 Deads if it kills me!
