Update on new job life: I love it.
Update on life in general: I love it.[/quote]
I just read your entire log. I am in awe of your hard work and philosophy on training and life. I’ll definitely be keeping track of your progress. You have a super strong deadlift!!! I’m so jelly!!

That you can do a Crossfit type workout that would, in itself, floor me, in the AM, and then lift weights in the PM…it boggles the mind. As Nadia said, I’m in awe.
And congrats on the bench. Nice one!
DISCO!—I am glad you stopped in! Thanks for the compliment. I have PL meet in six days, so I thought of you and your log. As for the philosophy: Im a work in progress.
Greazy— Well…then add me to your list-o-people that call you greezy. Bench went decent.
Andy—Im learning.
Nadia/Cal— It wasnt always this way, but I have a distinct advantage of always being at the training complex. I sleep like a brick and put about 12 hours between workouts. If I had a husband/children I can guarantee my priorities would be much different.
Mim—Carbs and coffee, baby! I have been reading through a lot of logs, and I must say I eat quite a few carbs compared to everyone else. But I have played in stimulants quite a bit before. They are just a bit much.

Yeah, your workouts are ridic!! I hope I can be like you when I’m back
I’m also a carbs and coffee girl - never been one for supps - and I think I do take in a lot of carbs compared to most while staying fairly lean (emphasis on fairly, i get serious carb bloat too, lol!).
You’d know better than me, but I’m almost certain that a training regime with more conditioning work merits a higher dosage of carbs. Higher carbs = better performance, better performance = more efficient calorie utilization, etc.

Ooohh, I can’t wait to hear about it! Mine is in over two months and I am so nervous and probably think about it way more than I should. Good luck, and don’t forget to share the results!
The football team I work with won their first game on saturday!! Yay coach Dash!
Saturday is the beginning of Dasherpolooza!!!
-Powerlifting meet in the AM
-Mud run of sorts in the PM
-Mud Wrestling on Sunday (Charity event I got suckered into)
I guess the mud run is going to be taped for some show on the discovery channel.lol Im about to be famous!
Im tapering for the most part, so shit hasnt been too interesting in these parts the last coupla days. Just some sprints and some mobility shiz.
That sounds like a pretty awesome little saturday. What’re you shooting for in your PL meet?
Congrats on the teams big win. I imagine you running out into the huddle during a time out and firing up the players to pull through on 4th and goal with :03 left lolol
Greeeezy—ha! I am not nearly that kinda key player. Really, all I do is stand around the bench and look pretty…until the interns have a question on wrapping ankles…then I spring into action! Conditioning coaches aren’t crucial on game day. But my grandma called and said I was on TV quite a bit in the background!!
I’ll probably shoot for a 650 total in the 132s. We will see. Squats have been crap all month.
