Ai yi yi…talk about too much fun!

Not sure how to respond to this.

By hugging…duh…

I practiced walking in a shoe today! I felt very vulnerable. My ankle is weak, weak. Not for long, though. I hope.

Went to the gym. Did:
3 x 6 pistols . . . when I hit 10 in a row, I’ll video.
Also lots of lower body machine work. Things like adduction, abduction, seated hammies, leg extension, weighted hypers with a little plate behing my head. You know the drill.

I’ll be heading to the USAPL South Dakota state powerlifting meet in a few weeks. If anyone will be there, let me know.

You going to take your state test? I may take my national in may…idk, but really should get it done.

Keep working! Great job. Hope the hug comments did not offend.

it keeps me sane and looking hotter than hell.

My goal is to be back in good enough form to compete at a July meet at 105 lb. and break the geared squat state record with my opener. How’s that for a goal?[/quote]

This is the Snap that inspired my to lift heavier. Awesome goal.

G1: No, I’m not ready to be a ref yet. Even though the Colorado USAPL meet organizers have asked me to get my cert, I don’t feel I have enough experience under my belt. Yet.

Sen: Not offended in the least.

Frenchy: Thanks.

Here’s a pic of my 13-year-old son and me in – what a surprise – a hockey shop.

He favors you quite a bit.

You have a fantastic smile!

Great picture! I can just feel the love.

So does this make you a hockey mom?

Fast circuit today x 3

10 squats (two feet! no weight)
5 chins
5 HLRs
10 situps on decline bench

Visited with foot expert, who told me to STOP LIMPING. He has the most amazing exercises for me to do. I’ve decided that I’m done with the air cast. Supposed to have another ten days in it. But I’m ready and need to learn to walk properly. My arch feels fabulous. My fused toe hurts like hell. The ROM of my ankle sucks. Now that I am trying shoes, that should come back fast. Funny thing: I almost fell over multiple times trying to do squats with no weight. The great thing is that strength comes back so fast. I know.

TRUE. Remind yourself of this often.

I’m really enjoying hearing your rehab process.

Love the goal, too. Go get em.

Obviously, gets his looks from his mother.

That’s a lovely picture of you and your son. He looks like he’s going to be a tall boy.

Nice training. Have you had a shoe on the fixed foot yet? If so, how does it feel? I imagine it will be tough at first but get better quickly.

love the pict!
