Sounds like coaches positive attitude has rub off on you!
I have no doubt you will be back stronger than ever.

Great to hear your surgery was a success.
Your coach should start logging here. He’s over 35, isn’t he?
I’m glad to hear that it went smoothly for you. It won’t be long before you’re back at it again. Good thing you got your record deadlift in before the foot went wonky though. Now you have to work on beating your own record.
your coach is inspiring
you are too oh queen of rehab
glad your feeling good-
have a great holiday- cant wait to see you rock out your new training then
ow ow! lookin very lovely, cast and all, Ms. Snap.
To answer your question from my log about upcoming meets, unfortunately I have no idea when one will be. School and my upcoming internship take priority right now, and those do not leave much time for long training sessions and the travel I would have to do to compete. When school has calmed down a smidge, I fully plan on getting back after competing, its just not something I can do right now.
I’m so glad everything went well. Its great to see you looking so good after that surgery.
Missing you Snap! Serious here.
Growing your hair? I think you look great, surgery or not.
Are you in any pain?
Take care ![]()
Hey Snap, glad to hear that all went well with your foot. Funny, you certainly didn’t look worn out in that photo.
I’m really looking forward to reading about your recovery and I’m really, really looking forward to reading about your coach. It sounds like he’s absolutely committed which is definitely a step in the right direction.
Have a safe and happy holiday.

Recover fast, Snap! We miss your wisdom!
wishing you a speedy recovery

.
Gosh, I need to move out to Colorado, you look just glowingly healthy! Glad to hear the surgery went well—no wonder leg lifts wore you out, that cast looks h.e.a.v.y.
Sending healing thoughts your way!
Oh snap,
just catching up and read about your impending surgery…
Good fortune… wish you a speedy recovery.
Just stopping by to wish you a happy new year! Hope your recovery is going well.
P.S. I am temporarily hobbled by a pulled tendon in my left foot, and will now feel more grateful for two working feet when mine comes back.
Thanks for the nice thoughts!
I am doing well. Pain is manageable for the most part. I still get tired very easily and am struggling a bit with having to be so dependent on others.
I had my first post-op visit today. And I guess I should just admit that I’m not a brave patient when it comes to gory medical things. I had a girlfriend take me to the doctor and take some pics, which I will post for those of you who like to look at post-op feet. The doctor was very, very pleased with the minimal swelling and bruising. He said I’m doing great. I will see him next week to get stitches removed and then start physical therapy a week after that. No weight bearing for five more weeks.
I went straight from the doctor’s office to the gym and did some flat bench (no leg drive!), rode the spin bike one-legged, and did some eccentric pistol squats. Exhausted.
