Our dresses have too much material. Some dresses were so short a tampon string would have hung below the hemline. Those were deffo IPF approved.

What a lovely way to put it. But it was true.
Actually, there was a woman who lifted early in the week who wore a dress like that to the meet every day. I’d see her in the audience or the warmup room and watch to see if she might bend over just a smidge too much in any direction. I’m sure all the males were watching as well.
So I’ve been suffering a little crisis of confidence the last few weeks and not doing a whole lot of productive training. At least not training with any powerlifting goals in mind. I don’t plan to compete in any local meets.
One nice thing about this sport is that it really is you vs. yourself. So I guess the battle is me vs. me.
Purty ladies…very attractive. Snap I love your smile too. The dresses are nice BUT Im a leg lover and you two have great legs, please show more next time !
lol on the string, O you have such a way with words ha

Snap out of it, Snap! Actually, I can relate. But, I think it is ok and probably even necessary to cycle down in intensity and focus now and again.
i say take your time Snap. you of all people shall never have lack of tenacity and drive.
It probably is a well needed chill, so go with it!
but keep logging ! even if its just pictures of you in dresses…and bikinis… o_o
Nice picture Ladies. Supercool.
Sometime you just need to train to train for a while. Let the dust settle, so to speak?

Especially bikinis.
Got new shoes today. Oly lifting shoes for squatting. I’m tremendously excited about them and can’t wait to try them out next week when I start a new training cycle. I think they’re really beauteous. And they feel so different from my chucks.
Deadlifted today. Worked up to 3/8/170 with a modified sumo form. Pulling in this fashion just feels right for me even though it doesn’t look super pretty.
After DLs, I moved on to seated good mornings. Still not sure about these. Don’t know quite where to put my feet.
Then I tried bulgarian split squats. Hard as hell these are. And I did them unweighted. I’m liking the unilateral work I’ve added in as of late. It may highlight some imbalances and help me correct them.
Seated GM’s look good. Really drive your feet into the floor on these.
Doing any jumps or sprints yet? I feel they would really help you.
Other than that just have fun training.
I told my wife the other day Training is Serenity…
Nice vids. Legs look awesome, if you don’t mind me sayin’.
Curious about the seated GMs over standing. Can you get much hamstring recruitment out of seated or is it mostly low back? I’ve never done them.
Actually, the deads looked pretty smooth. Was that your coach I heard in the background?
Nice shoes, where did you get them? How thick are the soles?
bow chicka wow wow!
lifts look great
shoes look awesome.
I like the seated gm - the regular version kills my neck and hamstrings.
ps your legs do look great.
The problem is not you with your training Snap. It’s that lame ass music they play in your gym. Please take them a CD of Five Finger Death Punch and tell them that they either play it while you are lifting there or you will eat their young…
Every time I watch one of your videos I see something I should be doing.
Errr you know what I mean.
Seated GM’s looked great.
