Ehh, I’m a bit moody at times. I think it’s hormones or something. Never used to be like that.
So today I’m planning to actually run a bit. Maybe a 5K. Then swim 1/2 mile. Looking forward to the swim after working my upper body yesterday. I’m trying to make swimming a regular post-benching therapy session. Really feels awesome.

My son (Void on T-Nation) gets morose when his lifts go down… Even when he’s dropped a ton of weight.
Please remind yourself that we’re not machines and sometimes we own the bar, and sometimes we don’t.
I played around with DL stances and decided to just pick one and stick with it. Build some strength instead of pussying around like I’ve been doing since the end of July.

Ehh, I’m never going to be a pretty puller. But I’m really all about maximal strength and staying injury-free. I feel very strong in this goofy stance and am able to keep a really nice neutral spine. I’ll post a vid later.

Not trying to play the role of a enabler. But there have been big numbers pulled by people using form not consider text book. Look at the raw deadlifting machine Konstantinovs. Of course he is a freak but watching him pull your surprised that his spine doesn’t explode.
Hey Snap - Just read your entire log to catch up. Fortunately for me you started this one in July. LOL.
On sumo, your recent setup looks really good (just passing along some info from the folks I’ve been working with). On the first pull really to try and drag the bar up your shins. That might help groove the feel of pulling the weight rearward and help keep the hips from leading. Sumo is really technical but you are really, really close. How is the diet? I’ve found it hard keeping strength up if I don’t eat right and eat a lot.

Forgot that I also did single leg plate-loaded hamstring curl. The weird thing is that my right hamstring cannot curl any weight. So I did 3/8 with an unloaded machine.
Alot of the stuff I have been reading would say that your butt is to low in the last deadlift video that you posted and that you are tring to squat it off the floor instead of deadlifting it off the floor. i say watch your video and see where the bar starts to move and your hips are at and start it there… you will probably be alot stronger that way. Deadlift if alot of hamstring and ass strenght but starting low makes it Quad dominant. Just my thoughts and if the guys with more expereince feel I am full of shit please. please please correct me…
