I think the O-mighty-puffinstuff said that yes the thread name did change and yes you are nuts.
I experimented to see that if by editing the original post title you could change the thread title. It worked but didn’t stick for some reason. I must have invoked the wrath of the database gods.

Bent over BB row
135#x10
165# 5x5 …
Did you find a good weight, Soldog, or are you ready to move these up again?
Short answer: Yes.
Now, to stop being a smarta$$. 165# was doable with what felt like good form and the bar came the whole way up even on the last set. So it was a good weight. But that also means I’ll bump it up next time - probably just 5#.
Those good mornings were pretty heavy as a percentage of your squat, man. Nice work there. I’m bettin’ you take a pretty good jump in your squat poundage next time.

Hmm… I hadn’t looked at those that way, Thanks!. The GMs don’t hit the hip weakness the same way as the squats do. I’m still taking 5# baby steps upping the squat weights, but you’ve made me think about it now…

Depend on how you do them. A wide stance bent-leg GM taken low will work hips too. An interesting variation is GM squats where the negative is a GM and then you get the hips under the bar and squat it up. Awkward.

weight 185# Three pounds in one week, I don’t think that’s muscle mass, I think it is beer and stress. I had 86 hours on the time card last week, will have 70+ this week and am looking at the same for the next two weeks.
I have got to manage my food better. I can probably handle the beer or two in the evening but the chips and junk during the day are pure stress eating.
All in all I have only missed Tuesday’s weight training but I have missed 3 karate classes which are my main cardio/aerobic sessions if I’m, not riding which is difficult in the fall and winter as it is.
The good news is that the shoulder problem hasn’t flared up but I still cannot do more than 5 push-ups which bugs me for some reason. Probably only have myself to blame because I haven’t adopted Elaikases stretching program.
Dead-lifts
135#2x5
225#x5
275#x3 These felt heavy and I almost didn’t follow the planned 5# per week weight bump on the next set. But then just said ‘F**k it’ to myself and did it anyway. I wonder how many weeks I can continue to bump it? 325#x3 PR Weight and reps
Bulgarian Split Squats
Bar 3x10 ea leg Balance is an issue on these
OH Squat
Bar 3x10
I just don’t have much left in the tank after these deadlifts.

My wife’s schedule only impacts mine in that we have to coordinate who picks up the boy after football practice and games. Work and sneaking away while others are still there is my main problem these days - a self imposed guilt trip.

So - Sumo stance GMs?
Not quite so wide as that, but a little wider than shoulder width.
Soldog, nice job on the PR for reps in the DL! These really are more mental than physical. You just have to get in the right mindset and go after each rep. The GMs will help with both the DL and the squat.

Great work!!
Thanks mday! As always, my glutes are sore the day after deads. I count it as a positive if the glutes feel it but not the lower back. Only halfway there today as the right side of my lower back ached for half the day.
Could have been how I slept but I also felt some imbalance as I went up on that last rep. Might need to video next week for a form check.
