So what we know actually happened:

 1. Court contacts local animal shelter about a lost dog.

 2. Animal shelter comes to collect dog.

Let me explain how it works:

 1. Some infantile left-wing journalist looking for something juicy to publish finds or creates a source. This source is some lunatic left-wing agitator or some fucking guy from the Hamas or something.

 2. Source tells them story about 150,000 Arab babies being eaten by Jews with US made knives and forks or something.

 3. Left-wing journalist prints story.

 4. International media picks up story and it’s on CNN and in the NY Times for several days. Scores of journalists around the world write ridiculous sob stories about the evil IDF and the poor, suffering Hamas over the following weeks.

 5. Infantile left-wing journalist from the Marxist Daily or something, sometimes has to retract story for legal reasons.

 6. Marxist Daily might have to print retraction and if they do it might be read by a few Marxists.

 7. Dhimmiwits around the world think 150,000 Arab babies were eaten by Jews with US made knives and forks.

Mission accomplished.

ROTFL!!

Sad thing is that bottom line, its mostly the Arabs who suffer from these lies that are supposed to hurt Israel. Maybe the Muslims are correct, antisemitism includes them. It is multi-mission accomplished.

Memories. We played this same game as a kid. Funny - just when you think you have nothing in common with a people.

speaking of false new stories, have any of you guys seen this one floating around?

A Jewish court is convinced a dog is “the reincarnation of a secular lawyer who insulted the court’s judges 20 years ago” because it made its way in to the court and they couldn’t get it to leave. The court then sentenced the dog to death by stoning and ordered local childeren to carry out the punishment.

The story was fake and was retracted:

“Today, the Maariv newspaper ran a “clarification” and apology about that story, saying the rav had said there is no basis for abusing the dog, not halachically and not logically. The rav had also said that city hall had sent their dog catcher to collect the dog from the premises of the beis din. The newspaper apologizes for the misleading headlines from when it was reported.”

(The original retraction is in the link for those who speak Hebrew.)

Few points:

 1. It’s illegal to abuse animals under Israel secular law and under the Law of Moses.

 2. Dogs are not “unclean” under Jewish law (well, you don’t eat them). It’s muslims that hate dogs and consider dogs unclean. Dogs are loved and protected by Jewish people. I have two dogs, both dobermans.

someday in the not to distant future, there will be a powerful animal rights group that will go into other countries and stop animal abuse from occuring. They will operate on behalf of all animals. they will go to mexico and end bull killing, i mean bull fighting. they will stop japan from killing whales. they will travel to whatever country abuses and kills animals and put a stop to it, one way or another. And i will be super happy when that day happens and i will give money to that group to help in their cause. There are animal rights group on the verge of doing this but not quite yet.

I will never understand the level of crazy some people operate on.
I will never understand the absurdity of things people will believe about Jewish people. (Note the retraction above.)

True. They’d stone the dog as a Zionist spy — oh, and the story would be true, not made up.

Basically, Orthodox Jews do not believe in reincarnation, so that sould have been a clue…
Its not mentioned in the Bible, Talmud or Mishna. That construct was introduced by the Kabalah, which is viewed with a lot of suspicion by the orthodox.
NO! You mean a bullshit story that makes Israeli Jews look bad coming from the left-wing media? Surely not!

‘And then the newspaper took it all back: On Wednesday, Maariv published a retraction apologizing for printing false statements and inflicting emotional pain on Rabbi Levin’

Couldn’t see that one coming. I wonder how many people around the world who read that story aren’t aware that it’s complete bollocks?
You have a great amount of common sense.

Yeah, just the other day, Tel Aviv Torahdors lost the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins. Angry fans ripped through downtown Tel Aviv, throwing beer bottles at outdoor TV screens, shops had their windows smashed in, flipping over cars and catching them on fire. Four people were stabbed, and stores were looted, until the riot cops came in and they tear gassed everyone.

We did the same thing in 1994.

Oh wait.

Israel doesn’t have a hockey team. That was Canada.

My bad.

You did catch where this was all fake. Or does that not matter to you?

If this is the best you can come up with for putting down Canada you’ve got absolutely nothing.

Pretty sad attempt.

Not sad at all, in that I didn’t have to make it up.

FWIW, I’ve met your PM Harper several times. He’s a nice guy and very sharp. Solid handshake and does not equivocate when spoken to directly on hard issues.

He has certainly saved Canada (or at least blunted) from the hardships Obama’s misquided social programs and economic policies have imposed on the USA.

Wow - you guys are arguing over Israel and Canada? That’s like choosing between Rosie O’donnell and Janet Reno?

White Chicks:
Okay. Who would you do?

Janet Reno or Rosie O’Donnell?

-What! Are you kidding me?
-And death is not an option.

I don’t know. Rosie.

-You’re a pig. That’s disgusting.

Not sure if I understand your comment. I do like Texas, however.

There are lots of former Texans who made aliyah to Israel, including my neighbor. Make good soldiers, good workers, and better businessmen.
